20ft ISO Container

In 1 collection by Col.Skipper [DAIR]
ISO Standard Container Compatible
79 items
Description
On the Stormworks Discord we agreed on a standard container size for the game, based on ISO668 dimensions.
So, Stormworks ISO668 container dimensions are:
20ft Container -
9 blocks high (2.25m)
9 blocks wide (2.25m)
24 blocks long (6m)

I know, the 24 long isn't ideal in terms of symmetry, but this is a 1:1 scale conversion of the real ones.

The rest of the specificiation is: 1 connector block in each corner - Facing up on the top, down on the bottom.
10ft and 40ft specs coming soon.

If you can, use the standard when creating anything container based, that way container ships, lorries, skycranes, straddle carriers etc will all work. And please make some different container types! Liquid transport, cargo, passengers (?!)
If you use the ISO standard, drop me a message, and we can stick it in the ISO compatible collection

i have used this mall to make a few containers. you can add them if you want. honestly this mall should just be added to the default tutorial vehicles.

I have built an ISO Compatible skycrane and a few containers that I would like to stick in the ISO collection if possible. Ceres Skycrane. (https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/workshop/filedetails/?id=1436895159) . Thank you for providing these templates.

Can't see a good reason why the 10ft ISO container is a requirement to download this one?

Guess that could work, though perhaps there should also be an ISO collection pack, just to keep it all in one place

Also for the sake of not allowing confusion. How would one protray that a workshop item uses this standard? Do we say it uses the ISO standard or what?

Alright. I understand your reason for that dimension. I say that for our purposes a .25m deviation for the sake of symmetry would be tolerable. But hey, this is all your guys standard. I'll roll with it.

Yea, I know, it'd allow for symmetry in that dimension then, but we're working along the dimensions of 6m length and each block being 0.25m, and have gone for a 1:1 scale with the real ISO containers.
