Diverse Preset Empires

Stellaris comes with a whole variety of preset empires, many of whom have since been either embraced or reviled by the community. The Blorg will always have a special place in my heart, whereas the Tzynn can rot in everlasting hellfire!

Ahem..

For those players who also use our mod 'Diverse Rooms', I decided to do some quick editing of the preset empires' text files and have changed the links from the original Paradox backdrops to a few that are included in 'Diverse Rooms'. Now, when and if a preset empire spawns, it will not look too horribly out of place!

If you also own any of the DLC that comes with new preset empires (Utopia, Synthetic Dawn, the Plantoid Species Pack or the Humanoid Species Pack), those new presets will also spawn with brand new backdrops. Check out the screenshots above for a quick preview.

This mod overwrites the following vanilla files in the 'prescripted_countries' folder:

• 00_top_countries.txt
  
• 88_megacorp_prescripted_countries.txt
  
• 89_humanoids_prescripted_countries.txt
  
• 90_syndaw_prescripted_countries.txt
  
• 91_utopia_prescripted_countries.txt
  
• 92_species_packs_prescripted_countries
  
• 99_prescripted_countries.txt

If another mod alters these files, the mods will conflict and either one or both will be incompatible.

Since this mod overwrites vanilla files, it is also highly likely that it is not achievement compatible. You can ofcourse still play in Ironman mode!
