Description
To use these weapons, subscribe to this mod and all mods listed as required. Then launch moddable version of the game and use CWM or any other weapon-related mod of mine to obtain weapons. Check CWM mod description if you have troubles using CWM!

You have to have both HDTFE and HDTSE installed in Fusion if you want to use these weapons in HD gametitles!


This mod adds a total of 32 (36 if you count same weapons on different classes) weapons from Team Fortress 2 to Serious Sam Fusion as resources. All weapons fully support VR!

The weapons are:
Scout - Scattergun, Pistol, Bat, Force-A-Nature;
Soldier - Rocket Launcher, Shotgun, Shovel, Direct Hit;
Pyro - Flamethrower, Shotgun, Fire Axe, Flare Gun;
Demoman - Grenade Launcher, Stickybomb Launcher, Bottle, Ullapool Caber;
Heavy - Minigun, Shotgun, Fists, Sandvich;
Engineer - Shotgun, Pistol, Wrench, Toolbox (builds Sentry);
Medic - Syringe Gun, Medi Gun, Bonesaw, Kritzkrieg;
Sniper - Sniper Rifle, SMG, Kukri, Jarate;
Spy - Revolver, Sapper, Knife, Conniver's Kunai;

Some of these weapons have a bit more to them than just shooting bullets/projectiles! Here is what you should know about them:
  • Force-A-Nature has airborne self-knockback, like in TF2. You can use it to reach unintended locations!
  • Stickybomb Launcher launches sticky bombs which pass through players and enemies and stick to surfaces. They won't explode until you detonate them with "Alternative fire" key (RMB by default);
  • Bottle (Ullapool Caber) melee weapon visually breaks (explodes) on first contact with an enemy. Unbroken state of it restores automatically after some time;
  • Sandvich has same functionality as in TF2 - you can either eat it yourself by using "Fire" (LMB) or throw out a 50 HP medkit with "Alternative Fire" (RMB). Sandvich restores automatically after some time;
  • Toolbox is used to construct a Sentry Gun, which will auto-target closest enemies in a limited range. The sentry can be destroyed by enemies and will also explode upon running out of ammunition. Use "Fire" key to deploy a turret. Upon deployment, it will consume all Metal you have and transform it into ammunition for the Sentry. Metal is slowly replenished over time automatically. Use "Alternative fire" key (RMB) to destroy your turret. This will return some metal. Amount of returned metal depends on Sentry's current ammunition supply and its health. If you try to deploy another turret while previous one is still alive, the current sentry will be destroyed (and return some metal as mentioned above) before the new one is deployed;
  • Medi Gun (Kritzkrieg) can be used to heal allies. Healing allies fills your Über Charge. When the Charge is deployed by using "Alternative Fire" key, you and and your beam target will be invulnerable to damage (will have Serious Damage effect applied) for a short period of time. Medi Energy replenishes automatically as long Medi Gun (Kritzkrieg) is not in active use. Medi Gun (Kritzkrieg) can overheal ally players up to max possible health on corresponding difficulty;
  • Jarate covers enemies in urine. Covered enemies receive additional damage. Additional damage, caused by urine, is equal to the initial damage but is capped at 10 damage per shot. This makes rapidly firing weapons (Tommygun, Minigun, Lasergun) much more effective against affected enemies than slower ones (Rocket Launcher, Shotguns);
  • Sapper is thrown and detonated like a C4 weapon from BFE. Upon detonation, Sapper creates a temporary powerful electromagnetic field within a limited radius, which disorients all enemies caught in it;
  • Knife and Kunai can backstab enemies. Backstab deals significantly more damage than usual hit, but is harder to perform when all enemies are targeting you. The Sapper might help with catching enemies off guard. The Kunai deals less damage than the Knife, but finishing an enemy with Kunai heals you for a fraction of enemy's max health (capped at 30);
  • VR users can activate "Alternative fire" functionality of weapons which have it by pressing trigger on the free hand. Such weapons can't be dual-wielded in VR, so if, for example, you hold a Stickybomb Launcher in your right hand, pressing trigger on the left controller will detonate stickies;

FAQ

Q: I subscrubed to the mod, where are my weapons?!
A: This is a resource pack. It adds weapons to the game, but to obtain them you must either play a map which has them placed on it, or use other mods, like Custom Weapons Management, to obtain them on any level. Check CWM mod description for a step-by-step instruction on how to use it.

Q: Why can't I uprgade the turret?!
A: Because (1) Sam is not a PvP game and you usually don't have time to spend on hitting turret with the wrench, and (2) level 1 turret is already pretty strong as an autonomous thing.

Q: Why didn't you use Sam's arms?
A: These weapons use original TF2 animations, and each pair of arms have their own skeleton.
Trying to make these animations work with Sam hands would require either rigging Sam hands or remaking every single animation with default Sam hands. Both of these task take enormous amount of time, and, considering this should be done for each weapon independently, ultimately it will not worth the time spent.
In short, I will not be doing Sam's arms for these.

Q: Please add also weapon X from TF2! Please please please!
A: I have no plans to add more weapons to this pack at the moment. Moreover, I don't want to add weapons which either don't bring any new functionality when compared to base weapons, or their functionality doesn't work in Sam.

Known issues:
Medi Gun (Kritzkrieg) healing beam effect comes out of nowhere at higher FOV;
Some weapons may not work correctly in Versus gamemodes;

hi i saw you dont have any plans to add new weapons to this mod but if im willing to pay you commission to add certain new stuff will you consider it? im willing to discuss how much payment would be to see if we can come to an agreement, feel free to message me if your interested.
