Description
Elder Scrolls Universalis is a total overhaul mod that will take you to the expanses of the fantasy world of the Elder Scrolls. Immerse yourself in the First Era filled with wars and catastrophes. Prove that you are worthy of maintaining your independence, and face down the threat of elves, orcs and humans alike. Conquer Tamriel and hoist your banner on top of the White-Gold Tower. Build the strongest economy through the strength of civic duty, or on the backs of your slaves.

The light of Magnus ushers in a new dawn, and the possibilities are endless. When all is said and done, will your ancestors be smiling down at you?

Experience the world of the Elder Scrolls as never before
Our map is painstakingly hand-crafted to present you with the canvas on which you will paint your Elder Scrolls masterpiece. It covers all of Tamriel, Yokuda, Atmora, and Akavir, and includes many special touches such as custom terrain graphics, 3D landmark models, and other new features like hot springs, volcanoes, and celestial bodies.
Play as familiar characters and countries
Stamp out the Snow Elves and unite Skyrim under a High-King, guide clan Direnni on its path to becoming an Elven superpower, build an empire in Cyrodiil with the White-Gold Tower as its beating heart, and so much more.
Daedric Invasions
Beat back hordes of Daedra and defend Tamriel from total annihilation by the forces of Mehrunes Dagon and Molag Bal.
The Nordic Empire
Become the High-King of Skyrim and find a balance between wielding ultimate authority over your Jarls, and keeping your crown on your head (and your head on your shoulders).
The Empire in Cyrodiil
Build up a great realm in the heart of Tamriel, subjugate your neighbours, and project your imperial might across the entire continent - and beyond.
And so much more...
  • Dozens of custom 3D unit models
  • Hours of soundtrack from composers like Daniel Ran, Fredrik Jonasson, and Scott Buckley
  • A branching Ideas tree with custom Idea Groups
  • Countless flavour events and decisions that fully immerse you in Elder Scrolls lore
  • Custom national ideas and missions (both country-specific and culture-based)
  • Custom estates and institutions that fit seamlessly into the world of the Elder Scrolls
  • Sweetrolls and arrows to the knee

In scenario 17 i found switching to theocracy. I searched for monarchy before, that was my mistake. Thanks!

perhaps it is in Scenario 17

Thanks - that helps a lot!

I already did some digging and i found the "chimer ashlander" to "house chimer" event - but i was unable to find the event that changes the goverment - do you remember how the file containing it is named?
Aetherum  [author] 17 Jul @ 12:56pm
Hello! The culture convettion event fires randomly, so you can never predict when it will happen. The change of government form happens later, around 500-700 years, either via event or decision. Hope this helps!

Can someone shed some light on the way the the chimer ashlander progress into houses? Sadly i did not find any information online.

There is an event that changes your culture to "house chimer", but i am unable to track down what the prerequisites are. Sometimes the event just fires very early in the game, sometimes it fires very very late.

And even then you are still a tribal nation unable to form one of the traditional known dunmer houses, so there must be more event involved.

Can someone explain this lost n'wah here which events are involved and what prerequisites they need to trigger?

i united summerset islands and colonized all of the pyndora and that redguard anchestral islands. But they are colonies and always fight with each other. I have no dlc . Is there a way to annex them ? i saw region mechanics in the mod settings but decided to ask to you first

New magic system is a really cool addition, however I must say: INSANELY OP. Maybe tone back how much mana you gain for free each month and add a statewide structure to generate mana, add events to gain mana, or something like that. Feels a little silly getting to waltz into a war vs someone twice my size and blow ten spells and pretty much autowin with no real cost since mana generates so quick.

Amazing mod, I mean I sank abysmal 300hr to it already lmao. However I wanna ask devs, guys when are you going to address the horrible horrible governing capacity issue? There are far more provinces than base game, in order to rank up your empire you need some 2000 development in all of your provinces. This in turn translates into A-console command and buff your way out B- do the same but lawfully and for 200 years or C-conquer more lands.

Well conquering is always fun and my god this mod makes it even more fun with sometimes broken combinations of buffs lol but governing capacity is NOWHERE NEAR ENOUGH to justify any conquest beyond let's say 50 provinces. It almost immediately goes over capacity and modifiers are just not enough to fix it. This is a major issue since after a while starting any war is automatic death sentence as your unrest metrics gets tanked and 50k peasant army alongside 30k particularist just bust the palace doors.

@Averious
There isn't really much finished/polished content past the Alessian revolt so to my knowledge there's nothing specific for Dragonborn Emperors at the moment
