Unhooded Shrew Mini-boss

This mod adds 1 new summonable dlc combined miniboss, a new trinket set, and 2 districts aimed at making crimson curse more viable for endgame. This mod is a collaboration with Sporozowen.(Phenomenal Artist)



The Hooded Shrew was once a distinguished member of the Courtyard. However, the Shrew grew bored of the blood's effects, deeming it mundane. In order to satisfy its ever-growing urges, it turned to a crystalline powder said to bring one to a level of elated that was unparalleled. The Shrew's first experience with the powder brought a level of euphoria, but at an extreme cost. While the effects of the dust were taking place, the Shrew grew to be incredibly aggressive, attacking and killing nearby court members. From this point on the Shrew was addicted to the shard dust, doing anything to get it's hands on it. This level of addiction scared the other court members, and eventually the shrew was shunned by the other court members. The Shrew finally ran out of means to get shard dust, and the withdrawl that she suffered was immense. She became a weak and decrepit shell of its former self...

The Unhooded Shrew is a SUMMONABLE miniboss. You need to use shard dust on the hooded shrew curio in order to trigger the encounter. This encounter surprises your party 100% of the time so watch out for that. A full list of changes can be found here [docs.google.com]

Both districts offer buffs to those who have the crimson curse. The buffs are quite strong, so their prices have made to reflect such. Both districts cost 3 Memories, 1 Blueprint, and 35000 gold.

NOTE: This mod should have decent compatibility with other, but most of the time with modding monsters the more mods you have the higher the chance for errors is. If you are having issues with this mod I suggest reducing the number of mods you have and trying again.

The Shrew drops 1 of 2 trinkets:
Disheveled Wig:

-66% Blight duration received if has the blood in inventory
-66% Bleed duration received if has the blood in inventory
+25% Stress if the blood is not in inventory
+20% Stress healed if has crimson curse
Insatiable Jawbone:

+15% Prot if has shard dust in inventory
+15% Dmg if has shards in inventory
-20% Max HP
On monster kill: Restoration 2 for 2 rds.

Set Bonus:
+50% Restoration Amount received
+50% Restoration Duration received
+8% Crit if has crimson curse
+20% Stress
