DCE gives you quick, powerful and intuitive control over your squad and AI groups. Turn Arma 3 into a hybrid FPS/RTT experience. Issue commands, receive contact reports, seize objectives and call in reinforcements.

How to change your DCE key

To bring up the menu, hit your DCE key (Left Windows by default, can be changed under Options>Controls>Configure Addons). Most of the buttons and functions are self-explanatory or can be learned by playing around in the editor for a few minutes.

Squad Menu
This is primarily for quick, one-click orders when you are a squad leader. There also extra commands such as garrisoning rooftops, deploying statics, switching to any group member and other options.

Command Menu
A command engine that allows a commander to give a variety of orders to any group on his side. Click the help button for more information. Requires a radio to access. To give move orders, select a group from the menu. Then shift click on the map to set a waypoint. High Command orders also work.

Function Keys
The squad menu features function keys F1 to F8. By default, these do nothing. However, a mission or addon maker can access them. Note that the F1 to F6 buttons on the tablet model may also be bound.

Attach/Detach
The command menu features an "Attach" option. Clicking this will give a menu allowing attaching elements between groups. Select a group from the left-hand list (group A), then select a target group from the right-hand list (group B).

Reinforcements
Reinforcements is implemented at the addon level with default army lists for the 3 main vanilla factions. Custom lists can be made for any mod. The spawn markers need to be placed by the mission editor (see the template mission above).

Objectives
Scripted objectives and endgame are enabled. These are designed for use with the reinforcements module.

Known Bugs
Not a bug, but a limitation: Only a single group at a time can be given dialog orders (in HC you can select multiple groups and give orders).

love this mod mate for untangling ai waypoints dynamically. any way to hide command chat? and could u add stance to HC? ive only just saw the pic above showing stance and switch squads. i'll try it now

I cannot spawn items with DCE. Is there a rule where you can place or what items can you buy to spawn?

I tried it in Antistasi Ultimate. It works and actually gives a cool extra feature: you can command some of the garrisoned soldiers as if they were HC squads. But this also causes frequent lag and mess when using High command, fast-travel, some commander options, or even just when watching the map.
This might be solved if there's any way to take some sqads out of the DCE's panel without eliminating them, I don't know if possible yet.
As others said, it would be good to have floating descriptions or even a brief user manual, in order to take the best of this pretty useful mod.

Your mods are wicked. Any way to add descriptions over the tiles when hovering with the mouse? Would make using the tool way easier.

Do you know if this is compatible with antistasi? If that haven't been tested, does the mod affect AI units action or just the way orders are given to them?

It seems that the objectives are non-functional in multiplayer, and can't be captured.

I really want to like this mod, but 99% of the pictures I am clicking on, I have no idea what they do. When hovering over a picture, they all need some sort of tool-tip that appears, telling the player what each picture will do when clicked on. Genuinely don't understand how you thought the player will just magically know what each picture means. And most of the time, nothing happens anyways when my character shouts a command.

How to Spawn RHS Vehicles With Define Reinforcement Module ? its Only Spawning The Troops Inside The Vehicles But Not The Vehicles.

Is there an option where I don't control EVERY group of the side? Or a way to remove them from my HC group.
