can you help me with your music

that's the stramge part. For all the game knows its the same damn file. Seems like a simple name change should not change how the game uses the file *shrug*

No problem haha! So they actually both play though. When the concert starts after hitting the lights and then the stage button midnightriders plays until the first tank arrives and then midnighttank plays and then onebadman plays and then second tank is onebadtank.

I've been testing it and its the same everytime in that order: My midnight replacements and then my onebad replacements and they work as intended. My only problem is that tank.wav and/or taank.wav themes are blasting over my concert tank themes when I don't think they are supposed to. Because in the video I linked ONLY the concert music is playing the default tank theme doesn't start playing over it so what gives? I don't know..... Thoughts?

@bucket msut've left those files there from when i first made the mod <____< ty for pointing that out. imma clean that up lol. I guess at one point I was originally gonna replace those. also FYI one bad tank and midnight tank plays dependent on which song plays in the concert finale. forgot which is which but one plays before the copter arrive and one plays with the first tank encounter. it's probably why i didn't replace those yet as those tracks are dependant on the midnight riders song that plays before it as it borrows musical cues form those.

As you can see here https://youtu.be/6B6zSVd3GgY and in many other videos; onebadtank and midnighttank are playing without the taank.wav or tank.wav blasting over it as if it were a normal tank encounter. I'm not sure which track is playing over them tank.wav or taank.wav. I assume its taank.wav since its the finale tank music I think.

Do you know how can I format the vpk mod in a way that works like that video?

let me make sure you understand what I want to do, I'm starting to think it's not possible but idk.

tank.wav and taank.wav are replaced with the same song. Song (A) we'll say. But when the tanks show up in the concert finale I only want to hear the onebadtank and midnighttank replacements which are replaced with two different songs. Song (B) and (C).

(B) and (C) play when they are supposed to during the concert but when the tank reveals itself song (A) blasts over song (B) and (C) sort of muffling or quieting (B) and (C).

They are still playing but their volume goes down so I end up with (A) and (B) both playing at the same time and then song (A) and (C) both playing at the same time.

So I downloaded your tank mod to just look at the music for a sec and I see you included onebadtank and midnighttank in your mod even though the tracks are vanilla. Any reason why you did that?

Because I've been trying to get tank.wav and taank.wav to NOT play over midnighttank.wav and onebadtank.wav.

Special infected attack themes do loop as well. You can look at my first mod: the tank sound and theme replacer as an example.

Thanks for testing it out! Means a lot since its mods like yours that makes me want to mess with the soundtrack at all lol
