Hi all. Here's one that lots of people have been asking for, and I've finally had a chance to create. Large-block domes that you can use to finish off and accentuate your towns, cathedrals, castles, etc.

Right now there are a total of 11 varieties:

-- Regular tile dome to fit the top of a small round wall
-- Regular gold "onion dome"
-- Large tile dome to fit the top of the large round wall
-- Large copper dome
-- Large golden dome
-- Large copper, golden, and tile barrel vaults
-- Large pendentive joint in tile, copper, and gold

Each large copper dome quarter will require 5 copper ingots; the gold ones require 5 gold ingots. So to complete 1 dome, you will need to use 20 ingots total. (The onion dome takes 3 gold ingots per quarter, so 12 for a whole dome.)

You build these just like you would any normal large-block piece. I have made the mount point fairly generous. The only thing you need is to have some kind of large-block item placed underneath, then you can build the dome pieces on top of it.

I'm looking at doing other variants of this. There are limitless kinds of domed roofs in the world, so I'm always open to suggestions.

Happy building!

I meant to say "onion domes in more sizes"

@STORI3D PAST Productions could you please add some "onion domes" and more sizes of domes? Also, something to consider, a mod (call it Michaelangelo Mod maybe?) that allows you to paint the inside ceilings of buildings with stuff like the Cistine Chapel.

Just so you know.... I am obsessed with this game and seeing it grow and prosper. If I wasn't financially destitute I would throw money at you because I have so many mod ideas! I would do it myself, but I have a very difficult time retaining technical knowledge as I have some brain damage from an open heart surgery that went sideways. This is why I am so immensely grateful for modders like you, who obviously also have a great passion for this game.

Anyway, thank you for the hundredth time. You are a true king here.

This mod works in 0.7. It's the last mod that I updated to 0.7. I can't remember if there are any old 0.6 mod pieces that I had to get rid of because of game bugs or not. But the mod -should- be working for you.

Will this mod be updated to future updates? My game says this is not supported by my world save.

Agree, this is the kind of stuff that should be on the game by default :D

Another amazing mod! Keen Software should hire you, I won't be able to play this game anymore without your mods.

Hey @Peter -- someone on Keen's Discord channel is doing something like that, creatng a full set of Limestone or at least lime-washed blocks. I've seen a few screenshots of the work-in-progress and they look really impressive.

Stori3d, I have a question - have you put any thought into doing like a light ashlar block style large block style for the karst's limestone like you've done with the desert's sandstone?
