Description
This mod adds 6 new muton enemy variants, all the enemies in this mod are quite tough and can give you a fun challenge. there is 1 early game muton and several mid/late game mutons, and these mutons are affected by certain dark events. This mod is compatible with the muton elite mod, the muton harriers mod, the EU berserker mod and a couple of other popular alien mods. If you see a bug or have any issues please let me know.

Muton Commandant: These guys are meant to serve as a leader unit for the mutons, equipped with good gear and able to buff other muton's.

Muton Commando: These are some of the best of the best for the muton race. While not as strong or smart as the Centurion Commandant, these mutons value teamwork. They are also fond of melee combat and may rush your soldiers to stab them with their bayonets.

Muton Decanus: These muton are melee experts who posses a war cry that causes mutons to go into a battle frenzy.

Muton Demolisher: These mutons are demolition experts who excel at blowing up hostiles.

Motun Honor Guard: These mutons serve as elite body guards to various advent/alien leaders. They are extremely durable and effective at protecting their allies in battle.

Muton Legionnaire: These mutons are young warriors who seek a higher ranking position in the elders forces then a standard muton. They are armed with cease fire grenades which can disable weapons.

--New items--
1. Rage Vest: This vest pumps your soldier's body full of adrenaline. Any time they are attacked they build up rage which increases the damage of their next standard attack.
2. Cease fire Grenade: This grenade deals minor damage but also disables the weapons of all units in the blast radius.

--Notes--
1. So a neat feature of this mod (all thanks to Rusty Dios for this feature) is you can pick/change the color of certain mutons (Commando, Centurion, and Legionnare). In the screenshots you can see all the color variations. To change a muton to the color you prefer got into the config files for the mod under XComGameData_CharacterStats.
2. The enemies from this mod drop either muton corpses or Muton Legionnaire corpses. the two new items in the mod use muton legionnaire bodies to craft.

2. HectorZx for making the muton elite mod, I used it as a basis to set this mod up. Also for porting the LW2 muton rifle which the Muton Commandant uses.
3. RustyDios this mad lad managed to get the custom texture made by ketaros working, he also made some sweet SFX stuff for the Muton Centurion Elite. Also helped fix many bugs and provided helpful feedback.
4. The Textures for the muton's in this pack were made by ketaros.
5. the Xcom 2 modding discord for helping with setting up the AI.
6. The new Screenshots and mod preview are by Lago and RustyDios. Thanks both of you for the help.
7. Thanks to deadput for making the beam shotgun for the mutons as well as creating/porting the models used by several mutons in this mod.

Anyway something similar must have happened in a previous playthrough, where I must of killed one and not brought it's corpse along and no elite showed up since, because I hade the Muton Elite autopsy researc option, but no Muton Elite corpse; so this time I decided to pick up the Muton Elite corpse and bring it along just in case... I couldn't pick up the corpse.

Any ideas?

Well, I have a weird issue; you said this was compatible with the Muton Elite mod (and I suppose also the elite pack) as well as the harriers, and I'm guesses other popular mods means Muton Destroyer? What about A Better Advent?

Anyway, a Muton Elite just showed up for the first time, properly blue/purple, did it's psionic shield thing and everything. I could have sworn though, that I saw two mutons in the pod when it activated; but that would make it a pod of four. For a moment there seemed to be a Muton Eilite, and one of your Muton Honor Guards (bright gold and bright red); and I'm guessing that the Muton switched between the colors; or even the entire Muton switched. I'm pretty sure this is what happened, because some shenanigans happened and I had to load a save, and all of a suden the Muton Elite (still called Muton Elite) has your Honor Guard's color scheme.

Legionnaires kinda blow to deal with. show up way too early for how far they can move, hard they can hit, etc

Hi @Alpha, please could you tell me, in the config XComMutonElite.ini under the WEAPON STATS header, do any of those configs allow me to edit the disable grenade that XCom can use?

@Experiments you can change the color of the muton's in this mod with config edits...

@Nagarider sorry for the late reply but good news is I nerfed the muton Commandant in the latest update. I reduced its armor and health and how many can show up in a pod.
