Laser Antenna - No Line of Sight Required

Descrição
Modifies vanilla laser antenna to not require a direct line of sight.

I want to have a number of communication satellites, but since I'm playing on a toaster, I can't have too many grids for this. So, laser antennas are a way to go.

But I found vanilla LoS checks to be unreliable and frustrating on low performance settings, where you'd lose connection to a moving ship just because a roid gets generated with 7km visibility.

Most existing mods for this are old and have a limit on range. This one preserves vanilla unlimited range as a maximum. Power usage and component costs are not changed.

all that stuff automatically scales to the same power requirements as if you actually had line of sight with the other antenna. the only difference is LOS is not required for the connection

So this mod still works as a drop in vanilla antenna LOS removal? Would it conflict with mods that do things like lower the vanilla laser antenna power requirements or otherwise fiddle with their settings?

That comes in handy. Thanks for making this

For everyone using this Mod or Vanilla - The farther the distance from the Antenna - the more power that is required to use it.

idk how to use the normal one

@Mrtrex500 the game already supports having no-LOS-check laser antennas with a simple switch. This mod flips said switch on vanilla laser antenna.

Thank you very much for the response and the mod.

I'm still using it myself on 1.198.033 with no issues.
