Soaring over Central Park, the profile of the San Remo is among the

The first of the twin-towered buildings which give Central Park West its
distinctive silhouette, and one of the New York's last grand apartment
houses built in the pre-Depression era, it was designed by Emery Roth , then
at the pinnacle of his career as a specialist in apartment house
