Description
Aqua Dynamics presents The Navigator, made by littlerol and contributor D-Wolf-SK

Pictures are outdated, the bulbous bow was removed

Mentions
-Thanks to D-Wolf-SK for testing, giving feedback, and adding some details on the exterior
-I used some colors and took a lot of inspiration for the interior from the R/V Calypso by GERUNIMO.
-I used the wooden back deck from MRNJersey’s Esvagt Offshore Rescue Ship https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1603143236 (I got permission)

Backstory
(not real)
The Navigator was built as a military support vessel/large military tug in the late 80s and was set to be scrapped in the early 2000s but was bought by Aqua Dynamics and was transformed into a fully electric research vessel. Some parts of her past as diesel tug can be found, such as the two smokestacks to the rear of the bridge, are now used for support for antennas, and her very navy like interior, which is very cramped, and not meant for comfort.

About
The Navigator is fully electric research vessel operated by Aqua Dynamics.
-She is powered by two electric motors, and four AQG-826 Generators
-She has one AQC-698 crane at the stern for loading and operating her AQDB-3346 Diving Bell and her AQRS-2500 "Stingray" research submarine
-She has top speed of 13 Knots or 6.6 M/S
-Detailed exterior and interior
-Realistic Navigation Lights
-Deck Lights
-Two anchors
-Two mooring lines
-One towing winch
-Active stabilizer
-Autopilot (Microcontroller made by toddy) https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1583271629
-Bow and stern thrusters
-Working Radar
-Working Map thanks to WH1T3_No1SE Link:https: /steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1741968004

How to drive
Driving Is very simple on The Navigator. Since there is no engines, all you need to do is move the throttle to get going, and A/D to move left and right. *IT’S VERY IMPORTANT TO ISOLATE GENERATORS AND THROTTLE ALL THE WAY UP WHEN NOT MOVING*

How to operate her systems
To use the anchor, lower the anchor until the connected light turns on, please note once anchor is connected all power is isolated to the generators, so when anchored make sure to throttle up to power the battery

To use the AQDB-3346 Diving Bell, spawn it in using the selection grid it on the rear of the ship, make sure the rear mags are lined up, once spawned in turn on the “small mag” on the crane and move the “slider” to move the diving bell to the stern of the ship, once small mag on the crane has connected to the diving bell, turn off the “slider mag”, and use W/S to move her off the ship. Once loaded off the diving bell can either be controlled from the crane operators cabin, or can be controlled from inside the diving bell. *The diving bell can be very glitchy at times*WHEN LOADED ON SHIP MAKE SURE TO CONNECT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS TO POWER DIVING BELL

To use the AQRS-2500 “Stingray” research submarine, use the selection grid to spawn in on rear of the ship, make sure the rear mags are lined up, once spawned in turn on the “small mag” on the crane and move the “slider” to move the submarine to the stern of the ship, once small mag on the crane has connected to the submarine, turn off the “slider mag”, and use W/S to move her off the ship. Once in the sub the controls are pretty simple and everything is labeled. To load back on the ship, back up the submarine as close as you can to the rear and use the mag all to load her on deck and she should reconnect to the tracks, and connect slider mag back up, and connect power cable WHEN LOADED ON THE SHIP MAKE SURE TO CONNECT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS TO POWER SUBMARINE

Was happy to help with this great project, it really sucks that the 7.10 update broke it. :steamsad:
