It's a real pain when you have an entire faction of bots with these things, I was near Boss Swoks territory (iron-titanium) in an 80k+ shielded Trinium ship and it whittled my ship down real quick due to the guaranteed hit in addition to the range they could trigger it from. I could just imagine the mayhem that could occur to an unshielded ship...
Anyways, still an awesome concept aesthetically with the fire alternating from each barrel (Main reason i got the mod anyways), and would like to see something with just that functionality or perhaps expending on it, including other weapons like chainguns, cannons and such ^-^
All these weapons have the same DPS calculation.
I think Cannon and Rail guns need different calculation from high fire rate lasers.
This mod fixes high fire rate damage by buffing.
We may need a lot of experimentation.
I think Avorion needs a weapon that can have multiple bullets (Effects) from multiple barrels simultaneously, like a laser turret.
