Realm of Mistvalin Scenario (Official) (Workshop)

Description
Contains the Alpha Test of Realm of Mistvalin!

The Realm Of Mistvalin (RoM) is a community made mod and the first sandbox MMORPG in Medieval Engineers. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/groups/RoMOfficial# If you'ed like to contribute to the RoM Project, visit the discord! RoM is a community made mod, and everyone is welcomed to help out if they want :)

Here is the RoM Discord: https://discord.gg/rerwGYe

-------------------------------------------------- Sub-Mod Support ---------------------------------------------------

RoM was designed to be sub-mod friendly. We encourage people to create sub-mods for RoM and create their own experiences. New Maps, Patchs, Weapons, Professions, Anything!

RoM Core provides the base assets for new materials, research, weapons, professions, and even role-play assets like doors and windows that can be operated by anyone on claimed land. A built-in line of assets to create NPC cities that loosely follow the lore of the Realm of Mistvalin.

Can I run RoM on my single player/private server?
Yes, but RoM was intended to be run on the Official RoM Server, so their may be errors that occur. For example, RoM Core is designed to run on a 24/7 online server. So if you run a private game that is not up 24/7, you'll need to write a sub-mod patch to fix issues for your session.

We also have the RoM Scenario which will import the cities and correctly scaled planet. (Though this is currently being constructed and the map is in alpha-testing)

Can I run RoM Core on my server?:
RoM Core can work on Vanilla worlds, but RoM was intended to be experienced on RoM's official map and server. Though, you can always make your own world file to run on your server. Errors may occur, so you'll want to create a patch to make your sub-mod work on your server.

-------------------------------------------------- Character Needs ----------------------------------------------------

This mod dramaticly improves gameplay by adding new character needs and states. You will need to manage your character's Health, Stamina, Food, Thirst. Additionally, you'll have to manage Poison from some foods, Intoxication from alcohol, and your character's Mood. Your character's mood is impacted by doing too much work in one sitting. Things like alcohol can keep you content over time while working, but more high-tier foods will make you happier instantly.

Your character should feel like a real person that you are caring for.

Current Stats:

- Health, the Health stat in RoM has been a little reworked. It has been raised to 1000, and all weapons and been scaled up to make a more reasonable combat. No longer will you simply die in 2-3 shots. You will now have to fight your opponent in a skilled combat style. Utalising potions and different weapons to get the upper edge over your opponent.

- Stamina, the Stamina stat works a little different in RoM. Stamina is mostly used for blocking, running, and combat. Therefor, the Stamina stat has been reworked to allow for a longer distance of running. While the recharge will be significantly longer, it takes significantly longer for it to be lowered. Various potions and effect stats will allow stamina to replenish faster.

Vigor, the vigor stat represents your character's health. As you eat healthy foods, sprint, perform combat, etc, your character's vigor will increase. Though unhealthy foods, death, and other factors will decrease vigor. As vigor is increased, it can raise your stamina's capacity to 200% vanilla's default stamina. If vigor is lowered, it can be reduced and stamina will be 50% Vanilla's default stamina.

- Hunger, the Hunger mechanic works like Thirst. You'll want to eat enough food so your character does not starve. If Hunger reaches 0, your character will begin dieing.

- Thirst, the Thirst mechanic works like Hunger. You'll need to either bring water for your long trips, or eat plenty of berries you find in the forest. Like Hunger, you'll begin dieing if your thirst reaches 0.

- Mood, the Mood stat is how your character is feeling. If you overwork your character with labour (woodcutting, mining, building, farming) your character's mood will decrease. Low mood will cause unhappiness, which decreases labor efficiency. High mood will cause a boost in labor efficiency. An easy way to raise your character's mood is food. Remember, a better chef will produce food that makes your character much happier!

- Fury, the Fury mechanic was added into the game, but is still a WIP. The idea is that basic attacks against NPC's and players will generate "Fury" which is used for a secondary "special" attack. This secondary attack is stronger then the primary, and has special effects.

- Poison

- Alcohol
