left-hand railway signal

Kuvaus
Vanilla signals at the left side of the railway.
Additional signals; original right-hand signals will not be replaced.

Also expand the availability of the semaphore to 1950.

This is just a small mod for people, which prefere left-hand traffic and want use the vanilla signals. And it makes more sense, when the signal shows away from the track.
If you want it more realistic, there are several mods in the workshop with real signals of several coutries ;)

Yes, in Great Britain the semaphore points to the left side while in continental europe always to the right. My point is that you can't mix these two system. The semaphore has to point always to the same side, regardeless if the signal is placed at the right or left side of the track. Mixing this would be the same as inverting the red and green light of the daylight signals. You just can't do it ;)

Maybe this example will help to understand it:
For example in Germany there are (or were in the past) some situations where you see two semaphore wings on one and the same signal pylon. One pointing to the right and the other one to the left. In this case the machinist only considered the semaphore poitning to the right because the other one is only valid for trains driving in the opposite direction (for this trains it's obviously the right semaphore).

You can not say generally, the semaphore show to the right side. It's dependent of the country. Normally the signal shows away from the track, in this case the semaphore has to be mirrored towards the standard signal.

Hi again, here is an example (it was hard to find because semaphore signals on the left are very rare)

Thanks for this but the Formsignal (mechanical signal) is wrong. Even placed on the left side of the track the wing points always to the right. They just get a higher pylon so the wing will be above the passing trains.

Both options should have been available from the start. Forcing either way upsets the other party. Dont want left hand drive in Germany or rest of Europe or USA and Canada :P Means thank you for the mod :D

No not properly @ General-Lee-God. So you want signals in the middle of the track?
Over 60%-70% of rail traffic in the world drives on the left. Goggle it.
Countries include: UK, France, Belgium, Ireland, Sweden, Switzerland, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, China, India, 90% of Africa and South America, SE Asia etc. So it should have been in the base game.

@General-Lee-God
On left-hand traffic routes (for example in Switzerland) the signals are mostly left of the track
