Super Value Wagon

Description
Super Value is probably the lowest rung on the supermarket ladder in New Zealand. I say this despite never having been in an SV store to go shopping.

SV was launched by Grocers United Service in 1964, with the first store opening in the Christchurch suburb of Opawa. Originally it was spell as SuperValu, but this blatant spelling mistake has since been corrected. Today there are around 41 Super Value stores throughout New Zealand, and the chain is owned by Woolsworth NZ, who operate the stores under a franchise agreement. As far as I know, this is a system where individual business people own a store and pay licensing to Woolworths NZ.

As far as I know, the cities and towns that have at least one Super Value store are as follows:

Auckland
Ngaruawahia
Tauranga
Raglan
Te Kuiti
Picton
Christchurch
