If you’re interested, somebody did a mod that fixes the NPC hitboxes. Maybe you could merge the hitbox fixes to the assassin model with this & your other Black Ops mod: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2033100114

The alt-fire/right click from shotgun does not seem to gibbed them unlike other NPCs. Other than that, this mod is great!

how did you make gibbing possible to the assassin?

for some reason the face was the same colour as the outift

@junkanator in a game where you're in a semi-secret research complex that studies not only exotic energy weapons but also contains aliens from a dimension between dimensions, a USMC unit that seems to be constantly outsmarted by a scientist in a fancy environment suit...glowing NVGs throw you off?

snide remarks aside, this was how it was done in the vanilla black mesa game, probably going for the cool factor over realism. Especially on hard mode when they turn invisible. Probably wanted the player to not get totally melted by the assassins as they parkour over everything while plinking away your hp.

This is very cool, that being said from being in the military night vision goggles don't hav light on the out side. You wouldn't want people seeing you if you were on a black ops mission.
