Level Pack

Update 2: No longer works.

Update 1: Now compatible with the current game version, AND includes all Haru's Siege maps!

Play 2 campaigns from the workshop in the base game.

This mod requires some setup. You need to be able to run the Command Prompt as an administrator. You also need to subscribe to every level in this pack.

This isn't a repack. It doesn't contain the levels themselves, but it does let you play them in main game!

Using this kind of mod prevents star ratings from saving. But the is a workaround: You can still save stars if you use this mod's files to overwrite the game files manually. A guide for this is here.

If you want to use REBALANCE with Level Pack, be sure to use the compatible version here. The guide will tell you when to perform the setup detailed in the Level Pack mod description.


Adds two new episodes: Red Storm by Stryker_Ben, and Siege by Haru Moritaka.

Red Storm is slightly harder than the main game. It features reworked and new levels that put you in suituations far more deadly than you're used to. It has a story behind each level that you can read on the individual level pages, which I highly recommend.

Siege is incredibly difficult, in the best way possible. If you thought you mastered the game, guess again. It features brand new levels based on the game Rainbow Six Siege. There are tons of surprises and some really clever uses of the map editor.

Both campaigns are excellent and very fun.

This version of Level Pack is NOT compatible with REBALANCE, but this version is.


This whole process will take about 5 minutes.

First subscribe to everything:

• Subscribe to this mod
  
• Subscribe to every level from Red Storm
  
• Subscribe to every level from Siege.

Then:

• Start the game once, enter the Workshop menu, then close the game (this makes sure mods are in the right place)
  
• Make a symlink as described below (this lets the mod add downloaded workshop levels to the main game)
  
• Start the game through Steam (ie. not with a pinned taskbar shortcut)
  
• Enable this mod from the Workshop menu (you don't need to enable the levels)
  
• Restart the game after enabling it
  
• Go to the level select
  
• Check the last few episodes. There should be 2 new ones

Check all the levels. If any are missing, you need to subscribe to them. If every level is missing even thugh you've subscribed to them, the symlink wasn't made properly.

Note: The new episods have some level spaces, shown with yellow police tape. This is normal. Red Storm has 7 levels, so there should be 5 spaces. Siege has 9 levels, so 3 spaces.


You can either do this automatically using a batch script (.bat file) I made, or you can do this process manually.

I recommend the automatic method file, it's much simpler. It has lots of validation to make sure you're doing everything right.
