THE FINAL MEGA UPDATE HAS REDUCED THE AMMO TYPES IN TOTAL SIGNIFICANTLY THOUGH THE 128 AMMO TYPE LIMIT STILL STANDS BE WARY!!!!

Halo 3 came to Garry's Mod!!
Contains ALL of the UNSC and Covanent Weapons including The Support Weapons. No EXCEPTIONS
Extracted from the Zteam Tag Pack extracted from retail Halo 3 these weapons are %100 genuine!
I worked hard for this so don't forget to tell all your friends!

All Weapons currently available :

----To throw Grenades - Hold USE Key, press Primary Fire.

( you must be in possession of the "Frag Grenades" ammo to throw grenades and the ConVar "halo3_grenade" must be set to "1" )

----Entities -> Halo Tags -> Grenade Crates to replenish the new "Frag Grenades" ammo type.

----To melee attack - press Secondary Fire

( you must hold USE Key if using a scoped weapon, cannot melee with Support Weapons )



-MA5C Assault Rifle - Working Ammo Counter.
-BR55 Battle Rifle - Working Ammo Counter.
-M6G Magnum
-M7/Caseless SMG
-M90 Shotgun - Interruptable Reload
-SRSC99 Sniper Rifle - Scope tracks ammo count, Aiming at entity will display target distance, elevation.
-M41 Rocket Launcher - Scope tracks ammo count.

-7-Wood Golf Club! - Working Lunge, Actual physics displacement when swung.
-M7057 Flamethrower - Only shoots Fire (Support Weapon), Overheats.
-UNSC Machine Gun Turret - Only shoots bullets (Support Weapon), Must build up rate of fire.
-UNSC Missile Pod - Only shoots Missiles (Support Weapon), Tracking projectiles.
-Covenant Plasma Cannon - Only shoots Plasma bolts (Support Weapon), Must build up rate of fire.

-FIXED EAR RAPE SOUNDS IN MULTIPLAYER
-Fixed World Model collision issues and 3rd Person Muzzle Flashes.

-Fixed a bug that allowed you to fire Dual weildable weapons before you even deploy them.

-Fixed being able to hear a grenade explode all the way across the map

-Fixed being able to Spam the shotguns reload if you hold R
-Weapon Actions now cancel other weapon action sounds ( I.E Reload Cancels Deploy ETC.)
-The Golf Club now creates an actual physexplosion for moving props around.
-Being Scoped In will now lower sensitivity
-Adjusted force of thrown grenades for a better experience.

UPDATE 2/18/19
-Added a Reload Animation for the Rocket Launcher, it now uses the AR2's Reload.
-The Magnum no longer reloads like a revolver and now uses pistol animations.
-Optimized the way support weapons are removed from the player, the Missile Pod, Machine Gun Turret and Flamethrower Now all drop a model that is automatically removed after 30 seconds.
-Fixed certain actions not cancelling others.

UPDATE 2/23/19
-Fixed the Golf-Club's lack of effects if you didn't have the Covanent pack installed.
-Optimized the Magnum's Rate Of Fire.

UPDATE 2/27/19
-Fixed the error created by dropping a support weapon on a multiplayer server.

-Added 3rd Person Reload Animations for the Shotgun.

-All SWEPS now have Kill Icons.

UPDATE 3/25/19
-Added a ConVar to disable grenade throwing "halo3_grenade" it is enabled with a value of 1 by default, requires sv_cheats to be set to 1 in multiplayer to change the value.

UPDATE 4/4/19
-Fixed a minor bug that would occur when reloading the Battle Rifle in the middle of a burst.
-Fixed the Flamethrower displaying the wrong holdtype.

UPDATE 8/14/19
-Fixed Muzzle flashes occasionally giving an error if you were killed while firing.
-Fixed an issue where timers were indexed globally and basically destroyed SWEPS like the BR that use timers.
-Fixed the Dual Weildable SMG's and Magnums not having left handed models, also Muzzle flashes for left handed weapons no longer spawn in the player's head.
-Added a dynamic lighting effect for the Golf Club.
-Fixed the Spartan Lazer's firing animation not playing.
-Added Minute recoil to the Assault Rifle
-Added Moderate recoil to the Battle Rifle
-Added Minute recoil to the Magnum
-Support Weapons no longer have no sound when deploying if you were already holding one.
-Fixed one of the support weapons giving an error when it was dropped
-Added minute recoil to the Shotgun.
-Fixed the Shotgun's reload animation not playing.
-Added strong recoil to the SMG and dual SMG's
-Nerfed the SMG from 7 damage to the body, to only 3.5 damage to the body.
-From now on, the frag grenade will only detonate 2 seconds after it touches the ground, It will no longer go off in the air.

-Changed how ammo types are initialized, hopefully this stops errors.

-Introduced a much more stable reloading function for the Shotgun, no weird bugs or anything.

-Finally fixed the Battle Rifle having 0 spread.

-Fixed an incorrect viewmodel being displayed a weapon is removed from the player's inventory.

-Fixed the Golf Club's melee animation not being the same as the Gravity Hammers
-Slightly reduced the size of some muzzle flashes
-Introduced brand new spawn icons to replace the old ugly ones.
-Fixed an issue where Hold Types would not be set correctly in Multiplayer.
-The Support Weapons now have custom ammo displays.

thanks for this mod pack. My favourite Halo weapons pack on gmod as it feels just like in the games.

I dont mean to pry on that, but my theory is that its either something to do with the model itself, or the animations since whenever an animation ends (i.e reloading) it snaps right to idle and it doesnt look very natural unlike the other weapons in the pack (i.e battle rifle)

+Moostard, the buggy display is caused by there being an extreme amount of polygons being rendered at once. If you're on a larger map, you'll see this problem more often. If you look away from most of the map you'll see the display starts working fine. The third person issues I personally noted as well... but attempting to recompile the first person model and alter it did nothing to solve it.

One day or like, week i dunno, can you look into the glitchy and buggy display of the assault rifle, actually the whole entire weapon, because sometimes the ammo display starts getting all glitchy for no reason, when i go into third person then back into first person the weapon dissapears for a short second after firing, reloading or switching and its a little broken, aside from that great addon!

+robocharger You must have another addon interfering with the weapons, might be some kind of ammo limiter addon, check your subscriptions carefully.

hi! i seem to be having a problem with the grenades thing.. i've set halo3_grenade and halo1_grenade (since i have the halo 3 and halo CE sweps) and i tested the "throw grenades" mechanic, doesn't work, 'till i noticed when i get grenades from the entities area. (since i also have the VJ HUD addon) for a split second, the grenades get filled than reset to "EMPTY". anyway for me to find out this glitch's cause and fix it?
