Reformulated Classic Maps (Asset-Pack)

Description
Reformulated Classic Maps (Asset-Pack)

Simply put, this is the asset to the map pack that can be found here:
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1965555040

I uploaded this to make it more convenient to use via other mods. Please this asset-pack wisely 🙂, and please credit and ask me for permission if you decide to use this asset-pack anywhere in your mods.

Masterful re-imagining of these classic maps and full commendations to SirBrambley. The environment and terrain felt more natural and realistic, with a lot more ares feeling like they had previous history from civilisations or past combat.

Nope, no issues for the game, it ignores that file from the best I can tell for asset packs. It could cause some oddity though if the file name conflicts with something else, though it's unlikely. The mod uploader is supposed to rename mod.ini to the ID number of your mod on upload but sometimes it doesn't.

Oh okay thanks for the info. I used the template from the UploaderTool since Ive never done an asset or config upload before. Has it been causing issues? Ive never had a problem running the asset pack so I didnt think I had weird stuff going on haha

I am going through a lot of mods testing my mod manager for GOG and I noticed this one was a little funny. Asset packs technically don't need their ini file, which is why the game hasn't had a problem, but your "Mod.ini" file should be named "2034315080.ini". You also don't need the DDS file since as it's not a config mod or an addon mod it won't show in the UI with a graphic.

If you'd like, you can make sure all your asset pack inis have the "modName" section, while the game doesn't use it the mod manager for GOG does, but this isn't required, it's just nice to do if you're going in there updating files for another reason.
