Pulleys (rope belts)

Description
This mod adds Pulleys (rope belts) and drive shafts

With this mod you can replace all your complicated rope belts with these performance and multiplayer friendly pulley blocks. as a bonus these can be used as gears with 4 different sizes available.

More advances pulley blocks will be made in the future.

For this mod a lot of complicated math was required. Most of this was done by Onca77.

To save pulley connections in blueprints, add another rope connection after connecting

Make sure you are using the community edition of the game. Most mods no longer work without it

I am also getting the same problem which also affects the drive shaft. There was a clue that I saw which might help if it has not already been stated. Although it could also just be something that started happening recently.

When I try to load the game I get this error message """

Im also not able to get the ropes to loop.
The pulleys show in game but when i connect them i only get a single rope instead of the double looped rope.

In the logs i find the compilation of the mod failed due to "Error: The type or namespace name 'SteamPower' does not exist in the namespace" and a non mountable point error

Then the script has likely failed to load. Look through your log for any hints, or send me your log

no the rope stays but it doesent do the loopy thing its just a straight rope and no the only mods im using is equinox core, pulleys (rope belts), remote rope control component, steam engines, conveyers and pipes,more catch blocks and pistons,more minerals, balloons, metal armour materials, and additional item tags

Does the rope disappear after you connect it?

idk if its just me or some mods not functioning together but all of a suddon the pulleys and drive shafts dont want to connect after i attach a rope

Other option is for someone to make a copy of the mod with just a tiny change in the code that makes it no longer require the engine dependency
