This addon is for modders that need presets for materials, composed of textures that by warp light under shadermodel 2.0 (SM2.0) or higher aim to a NPR-like [github.com] behaviour.
Also fix serve as healing patch and sample for their material workflows.
Personally I made of this addon as mandatory for most of my addons, and without it they'll not render, be a missing texture checkbox or even a wireframe only.
At user level, you can create your own materials and use Sub Material Tool to apply your created materials to any model.
