MW2 FAMAS Taped (for Uzi)

GIAT FAMAS F1 from CoD: Modern Warfare 2. Nicknamed "le Clairon" by the French, this assault rifle is mostly known for being weird and/or bad. One of the first polymer bullpups, it sits among the fastest-firing assault rifles, and is capable of launching rifle grenades. What sets it into the weird/bad niche is its rifling with more twists than M Night Shyamalan's movies other 5.56mm NATO rifles and propriertary magazines. The latter were designed as disposable, but it was decided to reuse them anyway. Improvements like a Picatinny rail instead of the carrying handle and STANAG mag compatibility were made, but apparently buying German versions of the M16 was a cheaper option.


There are still plenty of MW2 guns I'd like to make or remake. This time it's for the subgun due to its bullpup design (so it's held more sensibly in 3rd person), high rate of fire, and short reload animation. I have removed the rail system, and surprisingly there was a front sight modeled in there. The tape texture has an alpha channel, and transparency works weird in 3rd person view. Oh, and I also removed that terrible static shadow on the magazine. Seriously, why do game devs make this crap?
