OUTDATED! A 0.6.0 compatible version is being worked on. The mod is currently going through a complete rewrite so please be patient. A backend only update would be boring, I promise you will get some new features to play with.

Here is the super-boring and super-generic version of the description:
Expanded info is a quality of life mod that adds mostly new GUI elements that display useful information (see pictures) and attempts to do so in a way that fits well into the vanilla game. It's also highly customizable; if there's a feature you don't want, you can just turn it off.

Some notable features are:

• A GUI element that will show all current raids and some info about them (in addition to a raid notification some time before it is about to begin)
  
• An improved clock in the corner of the screen
  
• A menu where settings of the mod can be configured, accessible by typing "/ec" or "/exiconfig" in the chat.
  
• A hud element similar to the one that the Minecraft mod Appleskin adds. It shows how much food/thirst the held item will replenish.
  
• Damage indicator that shows how much health and damage a unit does/has (may or may not also be inspired by a Minecraft mod)

There is no other version. Super-boring and super-generic is all you get.

Some common mods that have been tested to work with this mod:

• Fant Mod - Survival Features (ver. 9.39) NOTE: there are still some issues with raids here. To make raids work with Fant mod, you can try replacing the unitmanager.lua file with the one from fant mod. (This will disable the raid GUI)
  
• Craftbot+ (ver. 2.1.5)
  
• I will test more mods in the future.

Use the "merge" option in the installer for compatibility with the above mods.
It's important that all other mods get installed BEFORE the merge option is used.
Also please don't reach out to the creators of any of the mods mentioned because of compatibility issues. It's not their fault, it's not that their mod is broken. It's in most cases because I haven't released an update to fix the issue.

There are 2 main ways to do this. The first is to do it manually of course, but I won't cover that here.

Mod folder:
The second and easy way is to use the included installer. In the mod mod foler, you should see 2 program. One called ExpandedInfoInstaller_V2.exe and one called ExpandedInfoInstaller_V2.pyw. The .pyw version works on any NT/Unix operating system (Windows, Linux, Mac etc.) but python needs to be installed. It's not too difficult to figure out what to do next.

To uninstall, go to your steam library > right click on Scrap Mechanic > Properties > Local files > Verify integrity of game files or use the installer (which will only uninstall Expanded info and nothing else)

This mod has been tested in multiplayer and should work. Everyone you attempt to play with will need to have the exact same mods installed.
