[S'Riss] Psionic Space Mice of Rimworld

Beskrivning
This mod adds a race of Psionic Space Mice to Rimworld.

Hailing from a world orbiting a distant G0V-Class star, S'Riss
often live in isolated communities of their own kind divided by vast
tracts of unsettled land. In Recent history, a new wave of settlers
have pushed outward, mixing among many other species with similar
goals, towards the Rimworlds. To their Future...

  • 0.67x Standard Pawn Scale
  • 2.5x Base Psionic Sensitivity
  • 50 Carrying Capacity
  • 6 Move Speed
Playable Faction
No NPC Factions (Yet)

Would love to see this get updated to 1.3. As the mod is now, it can be used, but the tails glitch out and don't connect properly. It's always off over a shoulder instead of where it should be.

I spoke to erdef on his alien races framework and he said this:
"Well, the factionDef of the Empire has the tag "permanentEnemyToEveryoneExcept". Factionmodders would need to use a PatchOperation to add their faction to it if desired."
he also said the reddit thread is wrong.

I did some more digging and found this reddit thread:

basically if you start as an alien race them empire appears to hate you

I even tried setting the fallen empire to allied with the dev tools and it stays at -100.

If you create a faction of sriss as Ora showed how then there is a problem. The fallen empire stays hostile (-100) no matter what you do. I seem to remember seeing something like this previously when looking at other race mods but I cannot remember if there was a fix/what the fix was.

Apparently, all you have to do is go into the scenario editor and make a new scenario with the "New S'Riss Arrivals" player faction.
