Stabilized Dual Fluid Jet Controller

Description
A microcontroller for controlling dual fluid jets. Stabilizes both the roll and pitch of the boat. You may need to adjust PID values for your boat if it's acting weird, but it should work fine for most boats. The pitch angle can be adjusted in the customization panel, as can the steering sensitivity. The throttle for the deflector control should be set to 0.7 maximum and -0.3 minimum for full deflection.

it works great, it manages to FLY my boat straight after it took off lol, although no matter what i do i cant get the deflectors to turn

Does the speed sensor need to be directional or absolute?

It's a microcontroller, not a vehicle.

Yeah, it takes a bit of setting up and sometimes tuning, hard to get away from that. Great to hear it's working well for you!

Took a little trial and error, but this thing works a fuckin treat

"The throttle for the deflector control should be set to 0.7 maximum and -0.3 minimum for full deflection."

The deflectors control the water jet. The wonderful thing about water jets is that you have fluent control over your forwards and backwards movement, meaning you can hover in one place. Put the deflectors fully forward, and the boat will move forwards. Move the deflector control stick fully backwards and the boat will move backwards. You can also set the throttle stick anywhere in between, giving you full control over exactly how fast you are moving and in which direction, without changing gears or otherwise having to make the propeller spin the other way around. It's instantenous and fluent. If you want to know more, search on Youtube for "how water jets work" or something along those lines.

Thank you! Great to hear that it worked out well for you. Stabilized water jets really are nice to use, changes the whole boat.
