Overhauling the Originals M1911s on TLS Animations

In 1 collection by Bunslinger
Vanilla Pistols as Both Pistols

Description
The last mod in my trifecta of every pistol in the Left 4 Dead series (except the deagle because it's its own weapon) on TLS animations.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How is this different from the several other OTO M1911 mods available on the workshop?
A: Most mods on the workshop that fulfill the same purpose as this either aren't on The Last Stand's animations, don't have improved world models, or both. If nothing else, I did this for completion's sake.

Q: Is this compatible with custom textures (reskins)?
A: Sort of? If there's a reskin on the workshop you want, you would need to deconstruct both this mod and the texture mod and combine them into one .vpk, otherwise they'll conflict in-game and it'll probably just use the default textures.

Q: Aren't The Last Stand animations the same as the ones from Overhauling the Originals?
A: Not quite. Overhauling the Originals was created before the vanilla pistols were given the capability to have reaching animations, among many other improvements. So this uses The Last Stand animations, as they include those animations, and are thus more definitive.

Q: Is this mod compatible with reanimation mods?
A: No. Weapon models are attached to the animations, so if you tried to install a vanilla reanimation mod on top of this, it wouldn't work.

Q: Does this crash the game when launching Survival?
A: Nope.

Q: Does this work with sv_consistency 1?
A: It should, but I don't know for sure. The only thing that would make this mod inconsistent is if a world model had different physics than vanilla, but the way I compiled the droppable world model, it should use the same physics model as the vanilla pistol, preventing that from happening.

Q: Does this mod come with custom sounds?
A: Yes, but I've uploaded them as a separate file. I've made my own mix of the original L4D1 pistol sound that sounds more up to L4D2's standards, you can download it here.

Q: Do the slides go back in third person when reloading?
A: Yep, as the screenshot says, such a feature wasn't present in OTO because the survivor animations didn't support it yet. It's there now, though. The mag comes out when reloading the single pistol as well (the dual mags don't support this, but the feature is set up should survivor animations ever be updated to allow them to).

Enjoy!

@Media Buff personally I'd rather not, I like to let people use their own HUD icons and not have to worry about incompatibilities because of it

Is there any chance you can make the survivors from the first game use the Ruger P-85 and a M1911 pistols and the survivors from the second game use the p220 and the glock? along with the pack of overhauling the originals?

Could you put the single 1911 over the magnum? Seems like it'd be a much more fitting match.
