Beskrivelse
More Immersive Doctrines is a sub-mod of More Religious Doctrines.

In More Religious Doctrines, every doctrine had some impact on the game however small. The problem is that there were so many different doctrines for each religion that you quickly got so many bonuses that any character was basically a god on earth. More Immersive Doctrines removes all character modifiers with a few minor exceptions. This means that there wont be any more 40+ learning characters.

You can support my creative process directly by supporting me on Buy Me a Coffee. My mods are and will forever be free however, so this is wholly optional.

NOTES:
If you want to include any parts of this mod in your own mod for purposes other than private, then you are allowed to do so as long as you include me in the credits.
This mod does NOT require More Religious Doctrines to function.
It is NOT ironman compatible.

Is this compatible with Total Conversion mods? Elder Kings, perhaps...?

I'm changing the "character modifier" part in the mod files to "clergy modifier". Only the clergy of that religion get the buffs that should be taken, it makes it privileged to be a clergy in each religion. There are benefits to being a clergyman .It makes more sense in terms of role-playing and balances the doctrines. In my opinion, it is quite logical and balanced that only the clergy benefit from the buffs of that religion, rather than all members of a religion receiving a buff.

Does anyone know if this still works in 1.5?

Nice little mod, but I think it's one of two mods I have that are making generic holy sites (ones that lack pre-built special buildings, e.g. Paderborn, Santiago) lose their empty special building slot, presumably making it impossible to build a grand temple or equivalent. It occurs even when this is the only mod enabled so it's not a weird compatibility issue. Anyone else experience this?

Have you considered doing a middle ground? I like the idea of religions having real modifier, but More Doctrines is pretty unbalanced. Maybe just tone down some of the buffs for More Doctrines, or change what they're about (e.g. less Learning bonuses)? Maybe even make 3rd mod with half as many modifiers or something?

Update? I liked the idea, but godlike characters is just bonkers(and breaks balance with RP element too)
