Aztec Mod Files I

Hey, All

The long awaited Aztec Mod is finally here. Please do keep in mind that this was just a person effort, so they may be some bugs or major balance issues. It took me 1 year to fully convert the units, buildings, and the terrain. I created the myth units using the existing AOM models. And used royalty free online mdoels for some of the statues, (credits below)

This mod replaces the Chinese civilization, with and brings 4 new maps. The 3 Major Gods are Tezcatlipoca, Quetzalcoatl, and Huitzilopochtli. Huitzilopochtli, will receive more updates in the future, at the moment he has no special bonuses.

How is the Aztec Civilization different from the other civilizations?
-Aztec villagers can swim across any body of water, and build water farms to earn gold.
-Aztec Priests, and the Warchiefs can sacrifice sacrificial units to gain favor.
-Aztec's receive a new type of Sacrificial unit in each age. These sacrificial units spawn from the Aztec Fire Pit.
-Aztecs start the game with upgraded walls, but they cannot upgrade their walls further.
-Aztecs have 10 new God Powers.
-Tezcatlipoca's military units can be brought back to life, if they fell in battle.
-Quetzalcoatl grant free sentry tower travois each age. These towers cannot be repaired.
