when i put this on engi with bonemerge tool it becomes black, why and can i fix that?

For some reason, every time I bone merge this cosmetic, it becomes shaded up and darkens on the engineer's model. How do I fix this?

whenever i extract the GMA instead of showing the correct model it gives me 3 model files with no actual meshes in them.
you happen to know why?
