DuraMax Armor

Description
Lore: As technology progressed from 2077 into the year 2125 and humanity traveled the stars further, new elements and ores were discovered. Duron ore was discovered to be a durable ore in its own right, but even more so when combined with others to make alloys. Duron alloy combinations allowed for creation of DuraMax armoring to become new armoring standard in 2125.

I created DuraMax Armor because I wasn't satisfied with current durability for heavy armor and light armor. DuraMax armor should provide roughly 10 times the durability of heavy armor. Eventually I hope to create some weapons and other items to go along with this sort of stuff. Although this is my first upload here, I have created several mods before for Space Engineers. Mainly they have been convenience type items. Due to a request for more info on stats, I have included a specs section below that should outline the major differences between this armor and the vanilla types.

Specs: DuraMax Plates require 2 Duron to produce in addition to the iron and nickel required by their vanilla counterparts. DuraMax Plates weigh 21 kilos compared to the vanilla steelplates that weigh 20 kilos.
DuraMax Grids require 5 Duron to produce in addition to nickel and iron required by vanilla counterparts. DuraMax Grids weigh 7 kilos compared to vanilla metal grids that weigh 6 kilos. Duron requirement is meant to be a balancing factor in addition to a play on "new alloy combinations" mentioned in lore section. additional kilo of weight per component meant as balancing factor. Once welded together armor should provide roughly 10 times the durability of vanilla heavy armor.

Light armor offers 7 times the protection of light armor with slightly reduced weight.

Medium armor offers 7 times the protection of heavy armor.

Heaviest armor offers 11 times protection of heavy vanilla armor

DuraMax armor values balanced around my 2125 Era mod with weapons dealing 15%-25% additional damage vs vanilla variants. Heaviest DuraMax armor can withstand 7 hits from 2125 variant railgun. Heaviest DuraMax can withstand 8 shots from vanilla railgun. For comparison it only takes 1 shot from either railgun type to break a vanilla heavy armor block. Heaviest small grid DuraMax armor can withstand 2 shots from a small grid vanilla railgun or 2 shots from a 2125 railgun.

If folks have questions or concerns please feel free to let me know. If folks can't reach me here, my steam name is the same as it is here.

@Valeriowar: I have duramax reinforced cockpits as part of my main 2125 Era Mod. I kept this one limited to armor blocks for folks who wanted the armor, but not the greater tweaks of the main mod itself. I can see about splitting the cockpits off from the main mod and doing them as a standalone thing. However they would be dependent on this mod being used itself. Don't mind looking into getting that setup, you're just the first to ask about it here.

-block variant group issue preventing the Era Refinery and Advanced Era Refineries from being properly grouped has been fixed.
-new icon for the standard era refinery to better differentiate it from the survival kit

i've pushed out an update for you folks that should correct several icons not properly matching along with a slight weight reduction to the original duramax heavy variant of armor. to make it easier for myself and you guys I posted a discussion thread to get everything into one place and explain why the major change has taken place. If folks have issues, questions or concerns please let me know.

@Sodium Chloride: in order to do what I wanted to accomplish I would've needed to set it block by block for every single variant that exists. Those are also resistance multipliers, not full on HP multipliers as components are where blocks derive their HP from. Where as with custom components I can get everything done at once, and have greater control over how hard/easy it is to manufacture the armor. This armor is meant to be stronger than vanilla obviously and thus not as easy to come by. There's plenty of ways I could have done it. However this way gives me the greatest control to accomplish my goals. Also should I have stuck with using vanilla components only, it also could've been effected by changes Keen themselves made. This eliminates those issues before they can ever become a thing.

there are also block-specific hp multipliers

@Sodium Chloride: because that would increase the durability of anything that used steel plates and not just the armor. Only way to increase armor durability without effecting other stuff was to make custom components.

why not just increase steel plate hp

-Duramax heavy armor buffed to 11x vanilla heavy
-Duramax Medium and Duramax Light armors buffed to 7x vanilla heavy and light armors respectively.
-Advanced Era Refinery speed now 2x normal and material efficiency is 1.3

this will retroactively effect all existing blocks
