Description
KOPE-85 Series Panel Buildings for Cities: Skylines

Location: Russia: Moscow and surrounding regions
Construction: 1985 — 2005

Description

The KOPE-85 series is a continuation of the KOPE-80 panel system, originally developed to accelerate high-rise housing in Moscow. Buildings are constructed from prefabricated volumetric elements and offer a wide range of layouts, including 1- to 6-room apartments. Unlike KOPE-80, all KOPE-85 apartments include balconies.

Layouts vary by section, with some entrances dedicated entirely to compact 1-room units. All rooms are isolated, bathrooms are separated, and kitchens are equipped with electric stoves. Remodeling is limited due to the high number of load-bearing walls.
