Description
Ever wanted to go vroom in Star Trek Style? Now ya can!
This mod adds a small ship and large ship variant of an new thruster type, called the 'Impuse Engine'.
These engines are powerful and energy hungry, but will propel you at high speed.
They are powerful enough to work in atmosphere, but will be heavily limited.
Warning: This mod is a heavy WIP.


Recent Update
- Balanced the force, power, and atmospheric influences.
- Balanced the required components to facilitate Survival.
- Created Block category for the Block Menu called 'L33's Mods' and added the Impulse Engine

Large Ship Impulse Engine:
Force: 10 MN (2.5 MN ATM)
Power Consumption: 40 MW
Small Ship Impulse Engine:
Force: 8 MN (3.2 MN ATM)
Power Consumption: 5 MW

I didn't realize that there was vested interest in this mod. I kinda got busy and forgot about this mod. I will work on a revamp at some point.

Why does the small ship version give 80% of the thrust for 1/8 the power?

quick question. which end is the engine exhaust direction? there is no label to help with orientation.

i just tested your engine today on my galaxy class build. that is 1:1 scale in small grid. its not fully built yet but it's already at 175106.848 metric tons. I placed 40 engines in one direction. giving me 320,000,000 Newtons of force. and the ship MOVED!!!. Well Done.

I haven't been working on the mods recently but its going to be more like a teleporter.

I noticed that you're working on a turbolift mod, are you going to use conveyor like pipes and have it be more of a teleporter or is it going to be a jerry-rigged door/piston thing?

Shouldn't be. There hasn't been a large update to the game and no one else seems to be having issues.
