British Rail Class 55 Deltic

Opis
The Class 55 was a diesel locomotive BR built for express passenger traffic across the Scottish border in the early 1960s. They were built as part of the modernization plan and replaced the Gresley A3 and A4 pacifics. They worked mostly on the East Coast Main Line, where they were an impressive spectacle. Achieving 100 mph (160 kph) was a regular occurrence and 55008 reached 125 mph (200 kph) on a special run in 1978. They were displaced by the HSTs during the late 1970s and all were withdrawn by 1982. Several have been preserved.

The model is available from 1961 in working and preserved liveries.

Max speed: 160 kph.
Power: 2462 kw (3300 hp).

Having made a promising start, I've now done all the other racehorse-named Deltics. I'm looking at completing the other regimental ones over the next few days. This will then complete the class entirely and will integrate with your original mod.

I've had a look at doing some more examples but I've found it difficult to get it to work with the multiple texture and material files and have to say it's proved very confusing for me so going to have to give up and stick to easier stuff.

@Blast Hardcheese: I found that the game sometimes stops loco sounds for some reason. I've had the same problem with the 50s. Can't do much about that. It's really annoying.

This is the locomotive that made me fall in love with British diesels. Only one problem with it: There seems to be no engine noise!
