a couple of suggestions:
How about reducing the amount of howitzers in a single battalion to 12 guns (down from 36)
and then reducing the combat width to 1 (from 3)
alternatively reducing the amount of howitzers in a single battalion to 24 guns and the combat width to 2
36 guns per battalion is just awkward in base game (3 combat width is also really awkward)
on another note:
How about giving vehicle towed artillery clearly better stats than horse towed guns? IRL motorised artillery was just far more effective than horse. (rn motorised only increases recovery rate)
on another note:
Can you give AT guns substantially more soft attack, because rn they are borderline useless unless the enemy has tanks. IRL they were also used as any other infantry gun. HE was just important then AP shells for them.
