Unit description



Manflayers are sadistic druchii mercenaries under Mengil Manhide's command, they slaughter for pleasure, for bloodlust, and to satisfy a gruesome obsession. They enjoy above all to pursue fleeing preys, reap their skin and dress themselves with. Nothing is more scarier than these screaming elves, jagged sword in hands, running with sewn skins like banners.



Mengil Manhide is the sadistic, cannibalistic leader of a vicious group of Dark Elf mercenaries known throughout the Old World as The Manflayers. They travel unseen across the lands under the cover of darkness, selling their skills to the highest bidder and adorning themselves with the flayed flesh of those they slaughter in battle.

In game (updated)

I made manflayers highly lethals, as an elite unit. It's a Regiment of Renown, and they are expansive in order to keep balance. I didn't see AI use them yet, even on legendary mod. Don't be afraid to bring them into the fray, they're tough. Hireable by all dark elves factions.

You really need to rethink the balance on these, the ai spams them and they are way too powerful. You can't give an armor piercing missile unit that many ways to negate counter play. They just ruined one of my campaigns 100 turns in because the dark elves have now taken over the fucking world on the backs of these units.

In my campaign AI Malus Darkblade has 3 Manflayers units and it seems a bit unbalanced.

@kavalier BTW, about bullet points. Why "forest stalker"? I mean, they don't even have WE-like bonuses when they fight in the woods.

Hey there. If you allow, can i upload SFO submod? I've tried to ballance them to SFO standards, added new contact effects, adjusted HP per model and so on...
