Torque Voice Pack

Description
New gameplay preview coming soon.

A voice pack featuring the voice of everyone's favourite sassy Viper cop, Agent Torque.

After finally figuring out a way to extract the voice lines directly from Chimera Squad, I am pleased to say that this voice pack now includes every possible voice line from Agent Torque, including a few unused lines you've probably never heard before.

2024 Update
  • 222 voice lines, including a small handful of unused ones found in the game files!
  • 75 voice cues, including ones for various story moments throughout the game, meaning you're hopefully going to hear a lot more from Torque on your missions.
  • Normalized audio and added radio effect.
  • No references to the Chimera Squad universe.
  • Voice lines for the various Viper-related actions in Allies Unknown Redux Species: Vipers.
  • The Torque Voice Pack will now only generate on viper soldiers! No more humans talking about slithering and having their scales knocked off. (although this now means that Allies Unknown Redux Species: Vipers is a soft requirement. Without it, you won't be able to use the voice pack without an additional mod like Unrestricted Customization.)

Want to create your own voice pack? All the raw Chimera Squad voice files along with the uncooked files for this mod are available here[drive.google.com], sorted by their respective character. I've also included the Audacity macro I used so you can quickly normalize the audio levels and add the same radio filter found in this mod. Enjoy!

Notes
Not every voice line will match the equivelent action in Chimera Squad. I took some liberties here and there, placing lines where I thought they fit best, although I'm open to suggestions if you feel like a certain line would fit better elsewhere!

Found a misplaced voice line? It's possible. There's a whole lot of audio files I had to sort through. Just let me know down in the comments and I'll fix it as soon as I can.

@b9thirty99 It's a soft requirement. You won't be able to select the voice pack otherwise as it's tied to the viper soldiers from Allies Unknown Redux Species: Vipers. If you want to use it on humans you can use unrestricted customisation or a similar mod.

Bet none knew that she's voiced by Erica Lindbeck, known to voice Cassie Cage in MK11, and of course Loona from Helluva Boss.

What mod adds Torque model?

Viper Redux has 4 variants of her but none of them looks like her.

It always struck me as odd in Chimera Squad how...normal the Vipers' speech is. Especially considering that all they do in XCOM 2 is make various hissing noises, Sectoids too.

@RufflingOrange Which mod are you using for the playable Vipers? Because I know a few playable aliens mods (such as Playable XCOM 2 Aliens iirc) have pretty limited customisation options. I'd recommend Allies Unknown Redux Species: Vipers if you're not using it already, as that mod has not only a bunch of customisation options including voices, but a few of the voice lines included in this pack have been set up specifically to work with that mod.

If you are using Allies Unknown Redux Species: Vipers, though, and don't have any option to change the Viper's voice, then you should probably mention it over on their workshop page instead as I can't really help you there.

Hey there! I'm trying to figure out how to add the voice but in customization there is no option for voices on vipers for me. Is it another mod that lets me do this?

@Mr Danger Dude I'll admit that I'm not entirely familiar with the whole 'mod cooking' thing, but I've went ahead and updated the files anyway. I don't see any downsides to reduced file size and less stuttering.
If something went wrong during the update, though, just let me know. I haven't had a chance to go through and test things myself yet.
