Idle Suppression comes out of the box with pretty high-set config settings which you'll want to turn down even if you have a computer that can handle it, as the game wasn't designed to handle so many units shooting at one time, it's a bit crash happy. Taking my Reduced Weapon FX mods could also help with that.
