Usage:

BOB the Prop Replacer is listed as a dependency for this pack. It makes it easy to replace the vanilla traffic lights with the ones contained here. It includes the ability to change the replacements per-network, so different roads can have different configurations of signals, all up to you.

I investigated making this compatible with Traffic Light Replacer but unfortunately it doesn't support left-hand traffic. Since these lights are designed for Australian roads, where we drive on the left, it wouldn't make much sense to have it be right-hand compatible. If TLR ever adds compatibility with left-hand traffic, I'll be sure to update this pack to support it!

You can also search for "AusTL" in Find It to place them down wherever you'd like, but you won't get actual traffic light functionality.

Issues:
I have thoroughly tested these to make sure there are no issues. Check your settings for replacement with BOB if that's where the issue is. Also, different LUT and lighting settings in your game may cause the props to look a bit different to how they're shown in the screenshots above.

This is my first proper asset on the workshop, so please enjoy!

And thank you to mayorwont for the great screenshots!

Anyone have the link to the asset of the bus in the first picture?

Kind of just wondering, I have been loving them but is there anyway we can customised each traffic light? What I mean as in, I edit one traffic light on the exact type of road. But down the street, there is a traffic light that I want to make slightly different to the others. Is that possible? Also would you ever consider making more of em?

Increased LOD distance?

For those asking about how to change the rotation in BOB, it is the "angle" setting. 180 flips it around. 90 and 270 turn it sideways. You may have to set the props individually for some roads by clicking the "individual prop" button and selecting individual props to replace. If you change a traffic light prop in BOB and one intersection is correct and the opposite side is backwards, you must replace individual props for it to work and rotate the individual props appropriately.

Since this was listed as a dependency for some new roads, I thought I'd make a quick comment. Thanks to everyone who's subscribed, very surprised how many are interested in such a niche product!

The way you use these is with BOB, the Tree and Prop replacer. You can replace the vanilla traffic lights (or any other custom traffic lights on your roads) with these ones. BOB is very powerful so learning how to use it properly can help you make things even more realistic!

Because of the way that I (accidentally) set them up when importing, some of the rotations may vary. This shouldn't affect the functionality, but you might have to play around a bit to get it them to fit right

They should work still with things like BIG roads, but some of the lights won't necessarily be 'correct' (e.g. there are no left-turn arrows on the overhead signals). As of right now, Traffic Light Replacer does not support left-hand traffic, so I haven't made these compatible with it.

the lights dont really work with BIG roads as they dont rotate

You will have to play with the rotation in BOB. BOB lets you rotate them in any direction you want.

These look great! I've also noticed that using BOB results in some traffic lights facing the wrong way, maybe because they've been imported at a 90° rotation compared to the vanilla traffic lights?
