Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV

アウトランダー（OUTLANDER）は、三菱自動車工業が製造・販売するミドルサイズのSUVである。

エアトレックの後継車種だが、サイズは一回りほど大柄で形状的には初代チャレンジャーの方が近い。
アウトランダーという名は元々エアトレックの輸出名であり、（日本国内での）初代の登場に合わせて名をアウトランダーに統一した。

約9年ぶりのフルモデルチェンジとなる当代は、エクステリアは2019年のジュネーブモーターショーおよび東京モーターショーで登場した電動SUVコンセプト「エンゲルベルクツアラー（ENGELBERG TOURER）」を源流とした新コンセプト「BOLD STRIDE（ボールド・ストライド）」を掲げ、堂々とした存在感のある佇まい、大地を踏みしめる力強さ、新しい一歩を踏み出す頼もしさのすべてを表現している。
フロントデザインコンセプトの「DINAMIC SHILED（ダイナミック・シールド）」は新世代化されている。一方、インテリアは、走行時の車体姿勢の変化をつかみやすい水平基調の“HORIZONTAL AXIS（ホリゾンタル・アクシス）を進化させて採用している。

プラットフォームには間接的な兄弟車となる日産・ローグ同様、ルノー・日産・三菱アライアンスにより、日産を中心として開発された「CMF C/D」が採用され、日本向けPHEVモデルは、エンジンは2代目（PHEVモデルとしては初代）から4B12型が踏襲される。

モーターや駆動用バッテリーの出力が向上されたことで、アクセルペダルを強く踏み込む場合でも極力エンジンを始動せずにEV走行の維持が可能となり、駆動用バッテリーの総電力量を20kWhに大容量化されたことで、エアコン使用時でも十分な航続距離が確保され、充電頻度を低減。
タンク容量が56Lに増大したことで、EV走行とハイブリッド走行を合わせた総合渡航可能距離も拡大された。
さらに、リアモーターとコントロールユニットが一体化されたことでフロアスペースが確保され、サードシートの設置が可能となったことで、初代からの5人乗り仕様に加え、7人乗り仕様が新たに設定されるようになった。

PHEV用モータ・インバータ・ジェネレータは、明電舎製が採用されている。

Like the indirect siblings Nissan Rogue(4th Gen. X-TRAIL), the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance has adopted the "CMF C / D" developed mainly by Nissan, and the PHEV model for Japan is the second generation engine. The 4B12 type will be followed from (the first PHEV model).

By improving the output of the motor and drive battery, it is possible to maintain EV driving without starting the engine as much as possible even when the accelerator pedal is pressed hard, and the total power capacity of the drive battery has been increased to 20kWh. As a result, a sufficient cruising range is secured even when using the air conditioner, and the charging frequency is reduced.
By increasing the tank capacity to 56L, the total travelable distance that combines EV driving and hybrid driving has also been expanded.
Furthermore, by integrating the rear motor and control unit, floor space is secured and it is possible to install a third seat, so in addition to the 5-seater specification from the first generation, a 7-seater specification is newly set. It came to be done.

The PHEV motor, inverter, and generator are manufactured by Meidensha.
