Description
Did you know that the L4D2 devs took this car from CS:S and Downgraded it?!
Yeah. The L4D2 version has less detail than the CS:S version.

Also, with the TLS update they gave this truck the ability to be colored via a mask.
Unfortunately, the guy who made this mask didn't bother making it properly.
Plastic trims and the damn tire threads can be colored too.

So this mod restores the CS:S model, with even more added detail it never had.
It also fixes the piss poor color mask they had added.
No, this mod will not turn the car green. I'm just using green to show the mask...

This mod is standalone because it edits the materials and models.
Some people already have texture mod installed.

That's not possible, unless you have some other mod that either overwrites this mod, or one that swaps out that specific model.

the game only has one single of these models in the game, and it sure as heck won't just *not* edit one instance of them.

This doesn't change the utility truck found in chapter 3 of Death Toll, the one with the lights on right outside the house before the church. Wasn't sure if you knew this or not.

i took at look at that mod.
Turns out that mod's vmt file gave the truck another texture that only works on some maps.
Essentially undoing the entire color fix that this mod comes with.
I still don't understand why only the wheels go invisible though.

I found the issue. It conflicts with [MST] Misc L4D1 Props. That's a shame. I'll just remove that mod for now. I haven't figured out what's wrong with the other mod I'm trying to fix though. For some reason, the other unrelated one just doesn't show up in my mod list when downloaded, so I cannot do anything with it. Even weirder, similar mods by the same person work without a hitch.

Perhaps, I'll take a look. I'm currently trying to fix another unrelated mod at the moment, so I'll get to it in a bit. I did have a mod that increased the texture quality of the L4D1 models, however I have since uninstalled it. I'd assume that was the problem, but I shouldn't have issues if it doesn't conflict with anything.

That should not be possible with the default setting of my fix.
Do you perhaps have another texture mod installed?

I don't know if it is just a problem with my modlist, but this addon causes the wheels on this model to turn invisible. They can only be seen by shining a flashlight onto said wheels. I will look into this.
