ProjectAnselm Beta represents one of my most ambitious mods yet, adding 4 factions, 2 of which are set during the Falklands War and the other 2 during the armaverse 2035 timeline. As well as custom helmet models. (Custom 3d models being a first for me)

The British originated Republic of Saint Anselm and the spanish originated Isle de Alcillo are competing south atlantic island states that have the unfortunate fate of sharing the same island, as outside interests use their strategic position between the north and south atlantic to their advantage throughout the cold war and 2035 armaverse era



The Republic of Saint Anselm is a british state in the south atlantic, after anti-independence campaigners lost the decolonization referendum that resulted in the birth of Alcillo, the Anselmers reluctantly entered into their own war of independence. The country has been battling for international recognition in the leadup to the 1982 Falklands War that would soon involve both Anselm and Alcillo. Legally it has no armed forces, but the Constabulary, its police force, represents its defacto armed forces.

After victory in the "Alcillian War" (concurrent with the Falklands War), Anselm achieved international recognition, however the predominent question between Anselm and Alcillo was no longer whether or not the other side had the right to exist, but rather where the border rightfully falls. By 2035, CTRG units disguised as Royal Navy attache's to the Republic have begun noticing odd border incursions and behaviour by Alcillo's military.


Isle de Alcillo, commonly just referred to as Alcillo. Is a spanish speaking south atlantic republic. Their colonial ancestors, having been conquered by the British were relegated to a second class until the 1950's, when they achieved victory in a decolonization referendum. Aligning itself heavily with Argentina as its main foreign policy sponsor after the brutal "Anselm War" that led to Anselm's independence and antagonism. Argentina for its part, believing Anselm to be a british proxy, has set in motion the machinations for the "Alcillian War" to take place days before its planned invasion of the Malvinas as a distraction in the event of a worst case scenario in which the British respond militarily.

After the Alcilliian War, and outraged by the reveal of Argentine machinations in starting a fairly ruinious war, the country had a period of neutrality. However, increasingly concerned by rising british investment in Anselm, Alcillo began searching for more international partners. By 2018 Alcillo joined China's Belt and Road initiative, expanding its ports to provide a valuable trade and defence link to South America and west africa. And by 2035, recieving Venezuela's sponsorship to join the Canton Protocol Strategic Alliance Treaty.
