PHEV Charging Adaptors

Description
Charging adaptors for the PHEV-buggy.

MK1 is cheap and charges with 1 Kw
MK2 is more advanced and charges fast at 5 Kw - it can discharge too.

The adaptors can be printed under Machines/power and look like a resource barrel.
While inactive the screen is a neutral grey/brown color showing the possible capacity ( 1Kw or 5 Kw )

The PHEV-buggy has an extra slot in the back (where the door was), where an adaptor can be installed. Then a power cable can be connected to it and the PHEV buggy will charge. Adaptor turns green when charging the buggy indicating the charging rate.

With MK2 the PHEV can be used a a fuel generator, or just a buffer and power transporter.
To use the discharge function of MK2 you need to plug the red end of a power cable to the MK-2 when it is installed in the buggy and it will provide power to the connected machine/network. As a default max output power is 5000w and the adapter will detect the demand on the grid and match this. Output can be strained using keys Home/End/PgUp/PgDown. The MK2 turns red when providing power. The output wattage is then shown on the screen of the buggy and on the adaptor.

Connector object borrowed from "Resource Cables", originally by ReIterated. This object adds great value, so thanks a lot! (hope this is OK)

Hi. You need the PHEV buggy (separate mod). The adapters will connect on it.

hey man , just need to find out something i have the connector in hand and at the right hand side of the buggy i tried the mk1 and mk2 , how to attach it as it is not giving me an option to press to attach ?

Fixed the jumpy cables when connecting to a barrel lying on the ground. The connection point was to deep inside the barrel. Now at the origin (0,0,0) it fits better and it should connect more peacefully.

Yeah, those 'live' cables in TKOM :-)
I had some unintended launches myself too.
Advice is install the barrel on the buggy, then connect the cable.

LOL. One amusing occurrence. I tried connecting a power cable to a disconnected charger barrel and was sent hurtling backwards by the snap of connection. Barrel and cable went their separate ways towards the horizon. No harm done though.
