Steve Phillips, being a discerning connoisseur of the rich pallette of flash pin techniques in professional wrestling prefers the perfection of the backslide above all else. This is his signature version of the classic pinning hold, set up with a standing sleeper fake out into the slide.

The Phillips Backslide is comparable to most other big back grapple pins and has similar stats to the La Esparda.(aka the Santana Special for those versed in Senatorial Office lore)
