Description
Warband Upgrade for Every Race
(Updated to 6.2)
--- Upgrade basic units into elite, and swap among unit variants.
--- Unique UI + Expanded panel for every race.
--- 100% compatible with any mod, save-game, and co-op.
--- Submods for RoR, expanded chaos upgrade, mod compilation, cross-race, SFO, Radious, etc.

See screenshots or here for more mechanism details, or just subscribe and find out in game. Most questions (coop desync? AI usage? UI issue? missing upgrade in Chaos?) are answered here.


Compatibility:
Compatible with all mods, safe to add / remove mid-campaign, and works in co-op. This mod does not touch anything else, i.e., unit stats are unchanged, all units can still be recruited from buildings.

Legacy version: if your screen resolution is <1080p & cannot see part of the UI, or the main mod is causing issues to older WH3 version, use the legacy version first.

UI Framework: if you believe some UI buttons are hidden by other mods, subscribe to this UI framework, which prioritize the warband UI over other UI mods.


Minor Issue:
Since 3.1, the tech requirements in upgrading can no longer be bypassed. Poor Daniel does not have tech tree, which means Daemon Prince cannot use tech-required upgrade options.

Since 5.03, some backgrounds (dwf) are removed due to it causing ctd after battle.

could you add an option to disable upgrade to elite version please? Keep the elite recruitment as is vanilla game or have a unit cap for elite version?

there is a total of six mods we use including warband. not sure if that may cause an effect. they are all relatively minor changes but will gladly list them if needed

thank you for your resoonse, we started a fresh campaign today and attempted your fix a couple times. sadly still having the issue.

It was a purposeful decision due to lore reason. There has always been a few elite units, such as tomb guard, black guard, that based on lore shouldn't be upgraded from any other unit.

Actually so should be blood knight, it is vampire and lore-wise shouldn't be upgraded from black knight --- they should be upgraded from mortal knights, which vampire count does not have access to. I went a little liberal in current version but may revert it later.

In fact all undead factions, vampire counts, coast, and tomb kings, are pretty barren in upgrade options due to lore. This is something I am aware of and plan to update after future patch / DLC.

Have everyone unsub then resub. Sometimes steam does not push the same mod version to everyone.

Hey homie, this is really really great, but would it be possible to get a second look at the Tomb Kings upgrade paths? Or was it very much a purposeful decision to not be able to upgrade to Tomb Guard?

as a heads up, seems it isnt working in multiplayer currently. i have tried with several different people but it always says wrong mod version.

suggestion: Plague toads of nurgle upgrade to pox Riders. There were some other Nurgle units but i honestly dont remember^^

Love the upgrade from black to blood knight! As far as the requirements for high tier units are high enough I'm always down for having more unit upgrades than not.

Personal take from someone who has used your mod for a long time!

Updated to 6.2.

1. Added blood knight sword version, and enabled upgrade from black knight to blood knight --- this was requested but wasn't included before for lore reason. But I decide to include this for now for better gameplay.

2. Added hob artillery for chaos dwarf, and can be further upgraded into cannon / rocket.

If your game is not updated to 6.2 yet, uses the legacy version for now.
