Description
The first EMD F7 locomotive purchased by the Alaska Railroad, ARR 1500 is depicted here in the railroad's original (and definitively classic '50s style) passenger paint scheme, with the "McKinley National Park Route" roundel on the nose of the locomotive. Interestingly, the gold on this livery was noticeably darker than all future paint schemes, which has also been replicated here.

This is my personal favorite Alaska Railroad F-series paint scheme. It just looks so nice!
