Khajiit - Race Expansion

Description
About
This is an expanded Khajiit mod, made by Teirdalin. Its a mod that expands some part of Khajiit while trying as much as possible to remain true within the original mod.

All rights goes to their respective mod makers. I do not own any of them.

Changes
  • Added a few other spawns of Khajiit races to other faction. They will remain populated within UC/TG Territory, but are also expanded to Anti-Slavers as well.
  • Chances of Khajiit races appearing in places of other races for some NPCs are reduced, but can still appear often.
  • (somewhat) Increased the spawn rate of Drifter Khajiit.
  • All Khajiit recruitable drifters now uses the new "Player KHAJIIT" player dialogue when recruited into the squad (The dialogue is still a WIP). Existing Khajiit recruits prior to this won't have it.

Addition
  • Several new faction are added into the expansion:
    • Rangriza Bandits: Wandering bandits found across the deserts of UC and Border zone. Keeps a low profile unless the headwig of United Cities and/or Traders Guild are either killed or captured, in which their presence and danger increases. Attacks indiscriminately. There will be a way to permanently remove this faction from the game, but that comes after the removal of Tengu and Longen. (Should the leader bite the dust, they gets replaced with a weaker faction)
    • Gulch Slaver: Pro-slavery faction consisting mostly of Greenlanders and Scorchlanders, with small size of Lost Hives from both sides who only cares about capturing non-humans (or sometimes humans). Remains initially neutral unless you did something stupid that cause them to start patrolling around Kenshi. (Faction is still a WIP but currently enough to appear)
    • Twilight: A group of individuals who have succumbed to insanity. These being cannot talk their usual dialogue, and even the books does not help at all. They are extremely strong and will attack indiscriminately. You only usually find them in abandoned armory around Berserker Village and Northern island. Steer clear if you don't want to encounter them.
    • Khadari (Upcoming): Anti-slavery faction consisting mostly of female Khajiits. Wanders across the desert when UC nobles are slain. Their major presence are unknown as of this time.
    • Ku'thal Monks (Upcoming): A band of wandering nomads that can be seen across Kenshi, possibly trying to find a place to call home. They do not possess weapon (or mainly staff), but are well versatile at unarmed combat and can't be (easily) knocked out. Normally neutral, they can be hired as mercenary if you have the cats for their society rebuilding. They also have a hatred towards Reavers and Holy Nation, seeing their reality as insane and abhorrent.
  • Added several new unique recruits. Their information are at the forum, if you don't mind the spoilers.
  • Added new bounties to capture. Some of them are also recruitable, if you find a way to do it.

Upcoming Patch
  • A unique "book" will be added to several vendors across Tech Hunters and neutral faction. These are required to talk to specific NPC.
  • Khadari main progress line and (ruined) town(s) will be added, and serves as a main point to dealing with the head of Noble Circle, Reavers and The Holy Nation. You will need to go on the path of Anti-Slaver to join with them, however.
  • Pacifier for Gulch Slaver, Ku'thal Monk and Khadari will be added. Additionally, one particular Pacifier will take less money if you ever angered Khadari faction, but will require you to possess an item to talk to her.
  • Unique shop vendor will appear around Kenshi in bars. These sells Edgewalkers and their own fabled model, but appears incredibly rare.

Future Plans
  • One more minor factions: Desert Caravan. Desert Caravans focuses its trade-ins on farms and mercenary hiring, and tends to appear as the Trader's Guild weakens due to absence of Slave Masters.

Note:
  • This mod works with most faction that utilizes vanilla characters. However, some mods will require patches to work.

@DrWilyeCoyote Understandable. Once my RL is more stable, I will go back to editing this.

I still have two more major parts to finish anyways.

@DrWilyeCoyote: No. I have not abandoned it. However, RL has been taking a bit of a toll on me. It would be a quite a long while before I get back onto the modding.

@Tom: An item added in the original mod does the trick. I won't say any further than that. ;) Hope you are still in good terms with UC/TG.

@Alice ⛧ Shiro Thats true. Unfortunately, AI are Dumb, and I am talking about the shopkeeper, since about every one from the faction will try to deal with the troublemaker. I can't do much about that.

I haven't touched on the Holy Nation though.

There are a few more minor plans for this patch before I consider it done, namely:
* 1 more major faction and 2 minor faction (without hometown, but has region).

*There will be a way to permanently eradicate Rangriza. but that which can only happen AFTER the demise of Tengu and Longen. And it would be a Reaver-grade difficulty as well.

*Once there are no more issue with all of these, I will consider it done and won't patch anymore. I will instead work on the patches for one of the overhaul (Not Genesis or UWE) to give it more oomph. It will also expand some additional features that I can't provide here without going too far.

The problem with destroying the holy cities is that it negates story progress with the other factions. But currently that's not an issue anymore, you did a good job on the balance with the empire and the holy cities. Thanks again :nkWink::nkLove:
