Description

All of my Final Fantasy XIV animals bundled up into one neat package for 1.4, with mod options so you can decide which ones you want to spawn!








  • Giddy Up looks weird and I'm too tired to fix it right now but Giddy Up isn't 1.4 yet so.


  • Why?
    - Why not. <3

  • Where do they spawn??
    - All but grand carbuncles spawn in the forests and temperate biomes.

  • CE?
    - That's up to them.

  • How many carby colours are there?
    - 7. Ruby, Topaz, Peridot, Emerald, Moonstone, Obsidian, and a special one I made for a certain Samuel Streamer.

  • Chocobo colours!?
    - ALL OF THEM. MAKE A RAINBOW.

Apparently its the chocobo's carry weight that's the issue? Pawns weigh around 60kg on top of their inventory and their gear weight - so 75kg is too low as a carry weight for most pawns wearing armor. And there have been chocobo fittted with metal armor, while carrying knights in full metal plate in final fantasy games, so it probably should be a much higher number?. (As an example: real world metal plate weighs about 30-40kg at the very, very least for just the basics of chest head and leg protection - full plate could weigh even more than that, even using modern steel. So those knights were probably wearing something with similar weight) Also, my pawns are definitely travelling much, much lighter than someone with light armor would, as their armor only weighs around 8kg, but is too heavy for what the chocobos in this mod can carry (75kg). Once you include the pawn's weight to any possible inventory, clothes and weapons, you can easily go over 75kg even with no armor.

1.5: Got giddy up 2 Forked also and had added chocobos onto the mountable list. But I cant get pawns to ride chocobos in a caravan, cos the pawns are 'too heavy' - but my pawns are underweight according to both the gear and inventory weight tooltips

It does not seem to be properly compatible with GiddyUp 2 Forked (which is the 1.5 version and it seems the one for 1.6). It shows that the Chocobos are ridable but I can't assign any riders. Running 1.5

Are the single packs ever getting updated to 1.5? I kinda want JUST the chocobos for my playthroughs instead of just all three if I can manage it.
