Probably from the caravan event, I didn't edit any base game files, so that dumbass event can sometimes make the mod look like it isn't working.

Dont think this mod works anymore. I have it installed but still getting cross breeding between different phenotypes

Lmao guess we'll have to do it ourselves

Hi, i may ask little more heresy, but can you make cross compatible not only same phenotypes but also closer ones, like: Humanoid/Mammal, Plantoid/Fungoid, Aquatic/Molluscoid, Avian/Reptilian.

Thanks for the explanation! I appreciate that

The mod does not alter any game files and only has one file which is unique to itself. Despite what the launcher may tell you, the mod will not be out of date and only needs to be updated once a new phenotype is added (Toxoids were the last added and this includes them). If they never add another phenotype group again then the mod will never need to be updated again.

Bare in mind you may still see "impossible" crossbreeds. This is because of that stupid caravan event. I could mod that out as well, but I would like to edit existing game files as little as possible.

Is this mod up to date enough to work on the latest version? 3.7?
DSECool  [author] 10 Dec, 2022 @ 7:54pm
The mod targets phenotype groups, so as long as the modded species lies within a phenotype group (humanoid, aquatic, etc.) that exists in Paradox's own game files it'll work. However, if the modded species is placed within a new phenotype group not defined by Paradox, it will not work.

Example 1: Mod Ineffective
Dragon species under dragon phenotype

Example 2: Mod takes effect
Elf species under humanoid phenotype will crossbreed with other humanoids.

What will happen with modded species? Will they still be able to crossbreed if they are under a certain section of phenotype
