Description
Summary

This mod adds approximately 70 ships to the asset list within the game
However, this is a partial integration into the vanilla game, so not all nations/navies will spawn all of the vessels.

Note:
  • This mod is compatible and required with UBE
  • This mod does not require UBE itself.
  • This mod is in very early development and is subject to go extensive changes as time goes on.
  • This mod has partial integration into the Vanilla Game and this mod is currently serving as a test for future development.

Some ships buoyancy is not perfect and needs adjustment
Some ships power/steering is too strong or too weak.
Many FX & particle effects are not work fully or are in early stages
Ship Torpedoes & Depth Charges & Rockets don't work

Ship Production start dates & numbers are not provided via this mod.

ships do not catch fire due to an issue with the vanilla code, same with ships not having flags. all of this worked in previous versions. I am working on getting them working again, with the upcoming vanilla game patch/dlc.

some ships have hull component issues in game, and dont register damage. but I barely understand the problem, and even less the solution when this occurs.

Do you use the realistic sinking mod from last year?
When I still had that active, in combination with the realistic sinking physics that got added to the game, I had quite a lot of problems with sinking the added ships.
Now that I've removed it, the problems are mostly gone.
On some rare occasions you might come across a ship that doesn't sink.
But if you get the confirmation, that it's been given up, you should still get credit for it, at the end of the mission.

The mod has HUGE POTENTIAL, but when you come across your first ship and it refuses to sink after 50 days at sea, you uninstall the mod.

Plus, the ships don't catch fire, which is pretty sad.

I enjoyed reading that, also I would like to state I have a build of the mod that is nearly ready for release. While it's still not complete it will be the next major patch and a major fix to many of the features lost in the recent game updates. I look forward to hearing more

Maybe it sheds some light on the buoyancy problems with the freighters.

I also noticed that the "Generic (04)" isn't in the recognition manual.

Yes some ships still have generic filler names

However, in the upcoming patch I believe most of these have been resolved. I can't be sure about 100% of them

Does this mod add the "Generic (pick a number)" and other freighters to the game?
Just had a massive battle with a convoy consisting almost exclusively of those and the buoyancy made them really hard to sink. Some even surviving four torpedoes or more. But I had massive fun with this one, as there was an entire German battlegroup attacking the convoy at the same time. Sadly I couldn't see the surface battle, as the free cameras range is limited. But I saw countless shots flying over the battlefield.

I really love this mod but it causes convoys to be completely stationary and then the boats will float like 200 feet up in the air or will be underwater (not sunken) they also rotate like crazy in one spot they will just start spinning honestly really funny glitch but unplayable currently.

The issue has thus far not been identified. But hopefully the next update helps
